Thalia POV

Okay so seaweed brain was heading towards me and I am officially panicking, come on Thalia focus you are a Hunter of Artemis and the Daughter of Zeus, you can handle acting as though your cousin who acted more like a big brother was coming and could not remember who you are.

"I am sorry to bother you, are you Thalia by any chance." A male voice says behind me.

"Yeah that's me. Who are you?" I ask turning around to face the person who was asking for me.

"My name is Parrish, I am a deputy here. The Sheriff advise me that you are working here on a temporary basis and asked me to assist you if required. He also asked if he could see you in his office." Parrish stated introducing himself.

"Thank you Parrish, I will head there now and it is nice to meet you." I say while sensing something seemed different about this Deputy.

I headed towards the Sheriff's office wondering if this was related to the conversation I had just had with Chiron. As I reached the office I noticed the door was ajar so I gently knocked on the door and entered.

"You wanted to see me." I enquire as I enter the office.

"Ah Thalia, yes come on in and have a seat please. We have a lot to discuss and not a lot of time to do it." The Sheriff advised.

I took a seat on the sofa nearest to the door as he closed the door and came and sat down next to me. "I received a call from Scott advising that he and Stiles are on there way here." He started.

"It seems as though while they were at school in Chiron's class Stiles was speaking and reading Ancient Greek without a second thought and then started not feeling well." He explained to me.

"Yeah I received a message from Chiron also, he thinks that maybe his memories are already coming back that maybe what happened to him recently has triggered them to return quicker than planned or expected to. I haven't had a chance to say this but thank you for looking after him when we couldn't be there for him, please know that even if he does remember you will always be a major part in his life along with all the friends and family he has here" I explained needing him to know and not feel like we are going to take his son away from him.

"Thank you that is nice to hear, I am looking forward to getting to know the rest of my son's family and by the seem of it there is quite a few of you." He jokes while wiping the tears from his eyes.

A faint knock is heard on the door just before it opens and Percy come walking in and starts talking not seeming to notice that I was sat here, "Dad, the weirdest thing just happened to me and its proper freaking me out." He burst out as though he was going to burst if he didn't get it out right now.

"Okay Stiles, take a deep breathe and explain what happened to us?" The Sheriff says calming down Percy who turned around to take a seat and finally seemed to notice me sat there.

"Hey, I'm Thalia. I just started here." I explain noticing the questioning look on his face at the sight of me.

"Pinecone face!" Stiles shouts at me before passing out.

"Seaweed brain!" I shout as I rushed over to him while been joined by his dad.

"What happened, I only left him for two seconds and this happens." I hear a voice behind me which I realised was Scott's.

"We don't know he came in ranting and I asked him to calm down. He turned around to take a seat and spotted Thalia who was sat there and all she did was introduced himself then he seemed to call her 'Pinecone face' and then he just passed out." The Sheriff explained for me as I didn't want to take my eyes of Percy.

"Pinecone face? Why would he call you that Thalia?" Scott asked the curiosity seeming to get the better of him.

"Well, until a few years ago I was a Pine tree for a while. I was dying and my Dad decided that the only way to save me was to turn me into a tree that protects our camp." I explain giving the shortest version I could.

"Okay then now you know that, let's focus back on getting Seaweed brain here back to the land of the living and not closer to seeing his Uncle." I state getting there focus back on Percy.

Scott kneels down next to Percy and grabs his hand, after a few moments I notice that the veins in Scott's hand and arms are turning black and he seems to be panting a bit.

"What are you doing? Why are your veins suddenly jet black just by touching Percy's hand?" I enquire.

"Well you know I am a werewolf, one of the powers I have is taking people's pain away and placing it on myself instead." Scott explains.

"Ah so the same as what Percy here can do but the difference is he uses water instead of some weird werewolf trick." I explain which earned me strange looks from the people in the room.

"Hang on he can heal in water, that gives me an idea." Scott advises while grabbing his phone.

"Deaton, its Scott. Can you get one of the metal tubs filled with water please. Its an emergency." Scott rushes to tell the person on the other end of the call.

"Okay, I think I can see where you are coming from. We need to get him there quickly, how far is it to where Deaton is?" I ask once he was off the phone.

"The other side of town so about a ten minute drive or so." Scott advises as he lifted Percy up with my help.

"I'm coming with you!" me and the sheriff seemed to say at the same time

"Scott, take Stiles in his jeep. Thalia you can ride with me in the squad car and will give them a police escort to get him there quicker." Sheriff stated control of the situation.
