Chapter 37

Poseidon POV

As my eyes were sweep over the gathered group behind Tartarus, I can't help but feel suddenly very small and not so powerful in their presence. I watch as Percy gets down to bow to the new arrivals as Tartarus faces them shifting nervously non stop since he had spotted them. I keep glancing around to see if I could spot Stiles appearing but find no sign of him, I know technically that he is not my son but I have grown very close to him over the past few months.

I watch as everyone else begins to bow to the newly arrived group including Scott, Sheriff and their friends but surprisingly enough I felt the urge to bow also and was closely followed by the other Gods present including Zeus. After a few moment I gradually return to a standing position and continue watching the behaviour of Tartarus interacting with the gathered assembly all of who were wearing different coloured cloaks.

"You can not be here! This is my battle to fight and you can not stop me, they need to pay for what they did." Tartarus snaps towards the group.

"Hasn't he paid enough, you tortured him for a thousand years, made him lose his family not once but twice and you have killed him on multiple occasions. What more could you possibly want to do to him?" A lady asks from under the midnight blue cloak.

"He humiliated me and caused the death of my only friend, nothing that I can do to him will ever be enough." Tartarus shouts back and I grip my Trident tighter knowing he was not going to go down without a fight as Tartarus's own army was also preparing their weapons.

"No you are wrong, they did not cause my death. They saved me from the evil being I was becoming." The lady in a brown and green cloak step forward dropping her hood to reveal the face of Mother Earth herself, Gaia.

"How are you here right now?" He asks stepping towards Gaia taking small steps as I notice Percy placing his sword away watching the scene unfold in front of him.

"Chaos gave me a second chance and allowed me to re-join the Primordial Council, this was all thanks to the Seven of the prophecy. If you just pop your pride aside and look around and think about what you are doing?" Gaia states trying to calm Tartarus down and I can't believe what I am hearing.

It then hit me like Zeus's lightning bolt at who I was looking at. This was the Primordial Council themselves, but how did Percy managed to get them to come here to help. I could work out by the cloaks worn who each was but was struggling with two of them as to who they were.

"I'm sorry to interrupt but who are you all?" Scott asks the group and I hear a faint chuckle going around everyone as Scott starts turning bright red from embarrassment.

"Sorry I forgot about that, everyone this is the Primordial Council. Primordial Council this is everyone from both mine and Stiles's life that we love and care about." Percy states as they all bow and remove their hood apart from two of them.

"Who and What are the Primordial Council?" Sheriff asks and I notice that he has drawn his gun ready to defend if needed.

"We are the creature of everything from the first breath in the universe to the ground you stand on to the bright blue of the sky. Let us introduce ourselves properly, my name is Gaia and I am also known as Mother Earth. I do owe you all an apology over what occurred on our last interaction, I hope I can earn your acceptance and forgiveness." Gaia states standing forward and bowing to everyone.

"Gaia, as I have already told you. You are forgiven and accepted the moment you lost the darkness and stepped back into the light." Percy states and I was happy to see every nodding there heads in agreement.

"My name is Uranus, I am the Primordial of the Sky." He states stepping forward as his sky blue cloak swishes in the wind.

"My name is Ourea, I am the Primordial of the Mountains." She states as she steps forward in her ash grey cloak.

"I am Pontus, I am the Primordial of the Sea." He states as he steps forward in his sea green and blue cloak.

"I am Erebus, I am the Primordial of Darkness and Husband to Nyx." He states stepping forward in his jet black cloak.

"I am Nyx, I am Primordial of Night and Wife to Erebus." She states stepping forward in an identical cloak to the one her Husband is wearing.

"I am Aether, I am Primordial of Light and Husband to Hemera." He states in his white and gold cloak while twirling his wife forward.

"I am Hemera, I am Primordial of Day and Wife to Aether." She states before turning in her own white and gold cloak stepping back next to her husband.

"I am Eros, I am the Primordial of Love and free for you ladies to admire." He states in his neon pink cloak before flashing his bright white teeth, I groan inwardly as he reminds me so much of Apollo.

I notice the two right at the back have not introduced themselves and seem to be having a silent argument between themselves at who would go first. The one in the Midnight blue cloak made her way forward before dropping her cloak to reveal the most beautiful person I had ever seen.

"Hello, my name is Chaos, I am the Primordial of the Void, creator and leader of the Primordial Council and Queen of the Universe." She states and I can't help but stare as she looks so familiar and I was also drawn to her eyes as they seem to hold galaxies inside of them.

"Claudia?" Sheriff asks and I spot him making his way out of the line towards where Chaos was standing, but was stopped before he could fully reach her by Percy as he notices Tartarus shifting towards him like I had.

"Hello Noah, it's lovely to see you again. I have missed you so much, thank you for raising our son into the remarkable person that he is today." Chaos states and I can't believe what I was hearing as I notice the final cloaked person had disappeared and reappeared in between Noah and Tartarus.

"How are you alive right now? How do you seem like yourself again?" Noah stutters out as he looks at Chaos in the eyes.

"Later Noah as I have someone to deal with right now." She states pointing towards Tartarus who was edging closer step by step towards the cloaked person who was blocking his path to Noah.

"Percy, get him out of here now!" The cloaked person commands as Tartarus starts advancing faster towards them with his sword raised ready to attack.

The cloaked figure reaches inside his cloak and produces a sword which he lifts just in time to meet the falling sword of Tartarus's. I notice something seems to be sticking out of his back but it didn't seem to slow down his movements as he matches every strike that Tartarus sent his way. I watch as the Primordials steps to the side clearing the area for the battling duo.

The cloaked figure took one last swing at Tartarus sending him flying backwards, making him land at the feet of his army who didn't seem eager or in a rush to move to help him up. The swing must have hurt him as the cloaked figured drops to his knees and I could see clearly what was sticking out of his back. An arrow!

I watch as Percy steps towards him and yanks the arrow out of his back swiftly without any hesitation before throwing it to the side before helping the cloaked figure to return to his feet once again rolling his shoulders as he does.

"What took you so long? All you had to do was say the code word and come back!" The figure shouts giving Percy a nudge in a playful way.

"My apologise, your highness!" Percy states in a mocking tone before doing a mini bow before they both burst out laughing gently pushing each other.

"Eh Percy, who is this?" Scott asks, asking the question currently on everyone's mind as we watch the two interact with each other.

"I think I will let him answer that one himself!" Percy states stepping away from the cloaked person.
