Chapter 26

Scott POV

It has been an hour since the meeting started and there was still no sign of Stiles, I know he had messaged earlier to say he would be late but we were nearing the end of the meeting and he still hadn't shown and wasn't answering any of my messages or calls.

"Has anyone spoken to Stiles since he sent the message saying he was going to be late?" I ask the room cutting Derek off from whatever he was rambling on about this time.

"No nothing, I know he was still at the school as he asked me to drop Annabeth, Nico, Leo and the new girl who's name I have forgotten off as he need to speak with Chiron about something but I thought he would be here by now." Lydia states pulling out her phone checking to see if she had any missed messages from Stiles.

"Now, normally I would say this is Stiles been his normal late self, but now we know the full truth about him I think we should try and contact Chiron or Annabeth to see if they have heard from him. Does anyone actually have their number?" I ask as I realise I hadn't taken any of there numbers.

A round of head shakes went around the room but before I could think of any more ideas my phone started ringing, I looked at the call ID and notice it was the Sheriff calling me.

"Scott, any ideas what on earth is happening at the school at all? I am having several reports of explosions and blinding lights." Sheriff asks as soon as I answer the call, I quickly placed him on too loud speaker so everyone else can hear what is happening.

"No idea, we were just about to head in that direction ourselves actually." I state as I notice my heart rate pick up wondering whether Stiles was involved with what was happening at the school currently.

"Why were you heading there for? Did Lydia have one of her feelings again?" Sheriff asks and I have to hold back a laugh as I know he is still adjusting to the whole Supernatural existence.

"No, Stiles stayed behind to speak with Chiron and texted to say he would be late for the meeting but he hasn't arrived and no one can get hold of him. We were just heading there to see if he was okay" I advise knowing at this point there is no point lying to him as we all grab our stuff and get ready to leave.

"Wait, why did Seaweed Brain need to speak to Chiron for? Isn't Annabeth with him?" Thalia asks and I realise she must have partnered with the Sheriff tonight.

"Thalia, Stiles asked me to drop them back and would only say he would explain later to Annabeth when she questioned him about it. Do you have anyway of getting hold of Chiron at all? We tried the school office but there was no answer." Lydia asks as we reach the cars and I climb into Lydia's car with her so we can keep talking with them.

"Hang on, let me see if I can reach either of them via Iris Message! Sheriff, I am going to need to make a rainbow in the car." Thalia advises before static is heard at the other end of the phone before silence then a voice rings out that I have never heard before.

"I'm sorry the person you are looking to contact is unavailable as either knocked out, busy fighting or dead. Please try again later." The voice states and I feel my heart drop into my stomach.

"Sheriff, step on it. Scott, Lydia get everyone to the school now." Thalia states before hanging up and the car jerks forward faster as Lydia puts her foot down.

We arrive at the school at the same time as Thalia and Sheriff and I am blinded instantly by the blue and sea green light blasting through the windows. When the light dies down I see what looks like a man riding a horse coming towards us but then realise its actually Chiron out of his wheelchair, burn marks cover his upper torso with a few cuts to hind legs and charring on his tail.

"Chiron, what happened to you? Where's Stiles?" Thalia asks running to her mentor and helps him over to the safety of our cars as the lights start shining through the windows again.

"It was Stiles, he's still inside the building." Chiron advises pointing to the lights shining from the school.

"What do you mean it was Stiles?" I ask shocked that Stiles would do this, Chiron was like a father to Stiles when he was Percy.

"He needed to speak to me as when Calypso smacked him earlier he wasn't faking his reaction, he generally was hurt by the hit more then he should have been, he also advised he didn't feel like a God or Champion. He said he thought he and his powers are broken, I tried explaining that powers whether they be Supernatural, Demigod or full God are tied to our emotions so maybe he is still feeling the emotions from what happened in Tartarus and hadn't properly dealt with it." Chiron advises as Thalia steps off to the side to message Annabeth about what was happening.

"Oh no, he had a panic attack didn't he when you mentioned Tartarus?" I guess looking towards the school as the light died down again and Chiron just nods in response looking down at the ground as though ashamed of himself.

"Correct, he collapsed to the floor and the next thing I know light is shooting out of him in different directions. I tried to speak with him but couldn't seem to hear me" Chiron explains still looking at the ground with the sense of guilt radiating off him.

"Chiron, this isn't your fault, it's no ones fault. This is what happens when Stiles doesn't open up about his emotions. So how are we going to save my son?" Sheriff advises noticing the same expression on Chiron's face that I had.

A bright light appears behind us and when it clears we see Poseidon stood their with Parrish who was in Hellhound mode.

"Poseidon, Parrish what are you doing here?" Thalia asks surprised to see them once she returned from speaking with Annabeth.

"Well Stiles is in danger and Parrish here has a handy talent for containing explosions within his body so can protect Stiles and the lovely young lady who has just ran into the school." Poseidon explains and points towards the school just a wave of strawberry blonde hair disappears inside.

"Lydia!!"
