Chapter 10

Welcome to Chapter 10 - I am going to leave this short as a lot is going to happen so enjoy this new chapter!!

Stiles/Percy POV

"Go to the water" I heard a voice whisper as I lay where I fell.

"The water will give you power. Go to the water" the voice nagged at me until I couldn't take it anymore so slowly moved myself over to the edge of the river with what strength I had left.

As I reached the river I placed my hand in and felt the water running up my arm and I felt the water heal the cuts as it travelled up my body and finally seeped out of my armour. As the water left my body all my memories came flooding back of my life before, all the heartache and battles I have had to face but I couldn't understand how they were back I got rid of them when I jumped into the Lethe.

I could sense everyone waiting behind me so I got up and grabbed Riptide from the ground and twirled the sword in my hand and turned to face the group.

"Σοφό κορίτσι (Wise Girl)" I say staring directly at Annabeth who seems surprised at first

"εγκέφαλος φυκιών (Seaweed Brain)" Annabeth answers straight back before running towards me and enclosed me in a cuddle which I returned with not as much effort as she was putting in.

After we break apart and head towards where everyone was gathered, "Its nice to see you all again but why do I suddenly remember everything?" I ask to the group.

"What do you remember exactly Stiles?" Scott asks with a worried look on his face which seemed to be shared around the entire group.

"I remember the mini battles and wars I had to lead, I remember losing a countless number of friends due to my weakness, I remember proposing to Annabeth and being surprised she had said yes to me after everything I had done, I remember not wanting to be alive anymore, I remember saying goodbye to Annabeth and my Dad before jumping of the cliff edge to land in the River Lethe so I could forget everything." I state looking at my feet the entire time knowing more questions would be asked.

"Percy, what I have never understood is what made you feel like this in the first place, you were your normal self when I left to finish Olympus?" Annabeth enquires.

Before I could answer a familiar growl broke me from my thoughts, I turn around and see Beef Head walking out of the woods by the river. I chuckled at the sight of him as this felt like when I first arrived at camp.

"Its been a while Beef Head lets see if you have got any smarter then last time shall we?" I state while walking towards him.

He snarls and starts barrelling towards me, I wait until the last moment before diving to the left to avoid the contact with him, I decide to play a game with him as its been a while since I last did this.

"Ooh so close yet so far." I joke at him while slicing Riptide towards his side as he swung his arm around trying to swat me out of the way before I could make contact.

As much as I loved teasing him I knew this wouldn't help anyone if this lasted any longer than it need to and I had some questions that needed answering.

"Okay Beef Head, this has been fun but I have places to go and people to see. So how about we end this?" I state at him as we both charge towards each other when the voice rang out that stopped me in my stride.

"Well look who decided to return to play Hero again when we all know he is just a puppet" the voice states which brings back all the feelings I had previously. I was so distracted I could barely hear what Lydia was screaming at me then I felt a horn rip through my arm as I was sent flying into the nearest tree with cracks resonating through my ears as I landed. Oh yeah, Beef Head I remembered as I welcomed the darkness clouding my vision.

Lydia POV

As Stiles turned around and walked towards the creature I realised what it was but it could be the same one as from the history books, could it?

"Is that the Min..?" I start the ask those around before I was quickly cut off.

"Please don't say his full name, names have power in our world." Annabeth explains as we watch Stiles messing around with the creature in front of himself.

As we were watching, Stiles dodged out off the way several times when a sudden rushing feeling came over me.

"Are you okay?" Scott asked grabbing my arm to steady me as I wobbled on my feet.

"I had a sudden rushing feeling like something bad is about to happen." I explain while I watch as Stiles and the creature stand facing each other.

"Okay Beef Head, this has been fun but I have places to go and people to see. So how about we end this?" Stiles states towards him before they both started charging toward each before Stiles suddenly stops in tracks as the colour seems to drain from his face.

"STILES!!! Watch out!" Scott and I scream at the same time but it was to late, the creature's horn connected with Stiles's arm sending him flying into the nearest tree where cracks echoed through the area as he made contact and landed on the ground not moving.

"Lydia, Nico, Will and Apollo come with me to get Percy out of here, Artemis, Jason, Piper, Hazel and Frank and Thalia please go and kill him and make sure there are none other hanging around, Scott and Chiron go grab Stiles's Jeep and meet us out front and call anyone you think can help fix Percy and get them to meet us at the Vet clinic." Annabeth stated taking control of the situation while tears streamed down her face.

As we reached Stiles, I noticed he was unconscious and was bleeding heavily from his arm from where the horn had made contact. I quickly grabbed the First aid kit that I always kept on me and bandaged the wound tightly to try and stop him losing anymore blood.

"Apollo, Will, how is he?" Annabeth asks while knelt next to Stiles's head.

"He's not good, I am sensing at least eight broken bones, a concussion and some internal bleeding along with the injuries we can see. Nice bandage wrapping by the way, I couldn't have done it better myself." Apollo explains while smiling at me as he gave me praise.

"Thanks but I can't take all the credit, Stiles made us all take a First aid course with Scott's mum who is a nurse at the hospital, just in case we need patching up quickly." I explained as Apollo gently lifted Stiles off the ground with the help of Will as everyone else reached us the creature no longer in sight.

"He will be okay, he has been in worst shape than this before. We just need to get him some Nectar, Ambrosia and a nice water bath and he will be right as rain." Artemis advised as we all headed to where Scott was waiting with the jeep but it sounded like she was trying to convince us as much as herself.

As we reached Scott and the jeep he hopped out and opened the boot so Stiles could be lay flat so we didn't aggravate his injuries any further. "I have called Deaton, and the Sheriff, they are going to have everything prepared and I also called my Mum as we are going to need someone is medically trained to help if we are not taking him to the hospital." Scott explained.

"Annabeth, Lydia, Apollo and Will you can come in the jeep with us if the rest of you are okay to follow behind." Scott advises after Stiles is secured inside.

"I have to return to the school as I have other lessons and need to explain what has happened somehow. Please keep me informed of how he is." Mr Brunner explains while heading towards the waiting taxi after receiving several nods.
