Third person POV
Breakfast in Hwayangyeonhwa palace is loud, as usual. But Haneul was unusually silent. Hoseok noticed that and he knew it had everything to do with what happened in her room last night.
"Can I have more maple syrup, samchon?" Gaeul asked. "Here you go, princess." Jimin handed her what she asked for. Jimin then turned to Haneul, "Haneul, are you okay? You're not eating much."
"Hu-Huh? Oh. Uhm, yes I'm fine." She gave him a small smile before she took another scoop of her breakfast. "Something's bothering you. What is it?" Yoongi asked with his cold voice. "Da-Damchon." Bomi pushed her food towards Yoongi and he voluntarily ate it.
Haneul sighed before she announced the big news. "We're going back to Odemore."
The room fell into deep silence.
Namjoon suddenly cleared his throat. "Uhm, are you sure about this, Haneul?" Haneul nodded, "We've been staying here for almost a month. I've been thinking, until when should I stay like this? I need to do something about Eun Hui." She stopped for a while.
"Yes, I'm mad with them for letting themselves fall into her trap that easily but I know it's not their fault. Eun Hui is a woman full of tricks. And I need to stop her. She almost destroyed my marriage, my relationship with the others and almost brought down my kingdom. I can't sit around and do nothing." Her grip around the utensils tightened.
"Will appa hurt us? I don't want him to hurt omma again." Gaeul looked at her mother. "Gaeul-"
"Princess, everyone makes mistakes. And your appa is one of them. He made a mistake and he really, really, really feels guilty about it. Can you imagine he's crying every night? He must hurt a lot, right?" Hoseok talked to Gaeul, making Haneul surprised with his action.
Gaeul pressed her lips into thin lines, "But he deserves it! He hurts omma!"
Everyone was surprised when she snapped. It seems that the little girl was holding a grudge against her father. And they don't want that. They don't want such pure heart to be tainted with hatred at such a young age. And worst, hatred towards her own father.
"Gaeul, no matter what he's still your father. And omma misses him too. She misses him a lot that she hurts too." Seokjin looked at her softly.
Gaeul turned to look at her mother, "Do you omma? Do you miss appa?" "More than you can imagine, honey." Haneul answered. Gaeul let out a heavy sigh. "Okay. But if he hurts omma again, can I bring omma here?" Gaeul agreed.
Taehyung smiled, "Of course, princess. We're your family too." Gaeul smiled while nodding.
Taehyung and Jungkook were helping Haneul loading their stuff onto the carriage. They talked a little with Mingyu. Mingyu keep thanking them especially to Jungkook since they're both are of the same age.
Meanwhile, Hoseok and S.Coups were in starring contest. Both were clenching their fists. "Letting Haneul and the kids to go back with you doesn't mean that we're letting them go entirely." Hoseok started while S.Coups kept his eyes on him.
"What you did back there is unforgivable. One more time you hurt her, I won't hesitate to travel to Odemore in an instant just to get her and the kids away from you for good." Hoseok warned him.
"Hmm? I? Not we?" S.Coups asking him, mocking him.
Hoseok kept his angry face, "Yes you heard it right. I. I will keep them safe." S.Coups smirked, "Hoseok ssi, I know you love my wife but remember, she's still my wife. Our bond is unbreakable."
Hoseok smirked back at S.Coups, "But that doesn't mean her feelings towards you won't change."
"What?"
"Hoseok, that's enough." King Namjoon decided to stop his brother but Hoseok still keeping his eyes on S.Coups.
Namjoon looked at S.Coups, "While you're here, I think you need to know this. This morning, my men reported they noticed some movement from the Treasure Kingdom. I assume this has something to do with that Eun Hui, no? Movement in Treasure Kingdom is detected at the same time that woman disappeared from Odemore."
S.Coups nodded, "That must be it. I should inform King Seunggyo about it and prepare what is needed." "King Seunggyo? You're not in charge anymore?" Namjoon asked. S.Coups take that Haneul told them about him taking over the King's position temporarily.
S.Coups nodded before he threw his gaze at his wife, who's busy saying goodbye to the other princes. "I've made a grave mistake towards her. I really want to kill myself for hurting her that bad." S.Coups then turned back to look at Namjoon. "I want to redeem myself." S.Coups continued.
Namjoon sighed. He patted S.Coups shoulder. "Take care of her. The both of you are mates. What happened to both of you proved that no power, except for death, that could break you apart. Even if it's a strong spell or hypnotise, these cannot break your bond. So please, be there for each other."
S.Coups nodded.
"Oppa, we're done." Haneul came to them with a smile. Her gaze landed on Hoseok that was standing right next to Namjoon, "Hoseok oppa."
Without saying a word, Hoseok pulled her into a hug, a tight hug. Without he realised, a trickle of tears fell from his eyes. "Hoseok oppa-" "Thank you for making me happy, Haneul. Thank you for giving a chance to feel what love is. You are not mine to keep but I will alway cherish the time we spent together here, Haneul. Those will be the best time in my life. I'm going to miss you, princess."
Listening to Hoseok's words for her, she admitted that she had failed to hold in her tears as she was crying along with him. "I'm sorry, Hoseok oppa. I'm sorry."
"We're still friends right?" Hoseok whispered to her and she nodded eagerly.
