A few days passed and it's finally time for the princes from Hwayangyeonhwa to return back to their kingdom. That morning, Seunggyo was sending them off with a wide smile.
"I'm happy that we could make this work, Prince Namjoon." Seunggyo smiled at him. "Likewise, King Seunggyo. I pray for your fast recovery. Then maybe we can organise a ball for Odemore people." Namjoon said. He was aware that Seunggyo was not feeling well.
After the ball that night, Seunggyo caught a high fever. He couldn't walk because he felt so weak the whole next day. Luckily he was feeling better the day after. And he said that it's thanks to Eun Hui for making him a 'working' tonic drink.
Gaeul hugged tightly onto Jimin's leg. "Samchon, please don't go. Can't you stay for another day?" she pouted. "No I can't princess. I need to help my brother to run our kingdom. Besides, our father is not feeling well. Will you leave your father if he's sick?" Jimin asked her softly. She shook her head, "N-N-no. I love appa." "Then you should know my answer princess." Jimin gently patted her head.
These few days they were staying at the palace, Jimin got really close to Gaeul even though she was being cold towards them in the early stage. So did Bomi. If Gaeul was being clingy towards Jimin, little Bomi was being clingy towards Hoseok. She was crying and he tried to calm her down.
Haneul tried to take her from him but she didn't want to.
S.Coups sighed, "I'm sorry for the way my kids behave." He apologised. "It's okay, Seungcheol ssi. At least we know someone loves having us here." Namjoon said.
"Yeah, unlike someone." Yoongi said as his eyes narrowed towards Woozi. The other male just glared back at him.
"Yoongi hyung, please. We're leaving now. Can't you at least be kind to them." Jimin asked. "No. Now shut up Park Jimin!" Yoongi answered harshly before going back to his horse, leaving Jimin with his pouting lips, totally upset with his hyung's behaviour.
Seokjin sighed "I wish he could be a little kinder to his brother." "We know that's not him." Taehyung answered.
"We come from different mothers. I can understand the grudge he's holding onto these few years." Hoseok went a little to the public about their family, forgetting the fact that the people from Odemore were there, listening to them.
Bomi suddenly nuzzled against Hoseok's neck. "Hope you can help us with that, princess." He softly kissed Bomi's head. "But now you have to go with your mom, okay?" Hoseok handed her back to Haneul.
Namjoon looked back at Seunggyo. "We'll see you soon, Your Highness." Seunggyo nodded back at him. "Soon." With that they turned and got on their horses.
Hoseok took another glance at Haneul. He let out a sigh before he finally joined his brothers on their way back home.
"Can we see them again?" Gaeul asked Haneul. "Don't worry, honey. We will." She smiled at her daughter.
That evening, Haneul took Gaeul and Bomi's with her to the river. She thinks that she hasn't spent enough time with the girls since she's 8 months pregnant with Jaewoo. Leaving Jaewoo with S.Coups at home, she had a picnic with the girls.
Gaeul threw herself on the ground after finishing the apple pie that her mother baked. "Omma, I don't think I can't walk." Gaeul groaned. "I'm full, too full." She rubbed her tummy. Haneul giggled, "It's not like you're going to walk anyway. We have our horse, remember."
Bomi's giggled, "Unnie is fat." Gaeul pouted, "That's not nice, Bomi's. Besides, omma's cooking is the best. You will experience more in the future. And soon you'll be fat like me as well." Gaeul stuck her tongue to Bomi and her little sister returned the action back to her.
Haneul chuckled. "Come on, help me put these things away. Appa and Jaewoo are waiting for us at home." "Appa!" Bomi started to run around.
While they were packing the stuff, Haneul felt as if they're being watched. But for the sake of her daughters, she played it cool. But it didn't work on Gaeul. "Omma, someone's here. Bad people." "Make sure your sister is safe. I'll take care of this one, honey." Haneul smiled at Gaeul and she just nodded before staying close to her sister.
Haneul waved her hand once, creating a gentle wind surrounding her and her daughters. Gaeul noticed the changes but didn't say anything because she didn't want to scare Bomi. Haneul narrowed her lips, forming a small 'o' and slowly blew an air, creating a sharp, fine needle-like wind. The needle-like wind went in a certain direction.
And soon, a loud thud was heard, followed by another.
"Unnie, what was that?" Bomi asked her sister innocently. Gaeul gently patted her head, "Nothing. Probably just some mean squirrel that was trying to disturb us." Gaeul said and Bomi just nodded innocently. "We should go home now. I miss Jaewoo." Gaeul said and Bomi smiled widely, "Let's go! I miss him too." She clapped her hands excitedly.
Gaeul hurriedly went to her mother, "Omma, is everything okay?" She asked out of concern. Haneul nodded, "Everything is okay now, sweetie. But we need to go home now." "Maybe you should tell appa, omma." Gaeul suggested. "I'm planning too, honey. Now let's go." With that they rushed back to their home.
Meanwhile late that night, Eun Hui was wandering off by herself to the back of the palace where there are less people walking through that place. She started to look around. A few moments after that, a few figures started to appear in front of her.
Her face changed in anger. "Why didn't you kill her?" She gritted her teeth. "You didn't tell us she's the wife of that pure blood vampire!" One of the vampires snarled at her. "So what? Are you afraid just because she's his wife??" Eun Hui asked back in anger.
"Are you a dumb? She's somehow related to the pure blood line herself. She possesses one of the highest element powers. She easily took down some of my men!" The man bared his fangs at her. "Don't you dare show me your fangs!" Eun Hui showed her fangs as well.
"You know what, we're done! Now give our payment and we'll leave you alone." Another guy said. "Are you kidding me?? You didn't even kill her yet!" Eun Hui fought. "And we're not going to! Now pay us!" The same guy said.
Eun Hui sighed before her eyes slowly glowed. "It's better if you just kill yourself...or just kill each other, don't you think?"
The men suddenly turned rigid and somehow 'froze' at their spot. Their minds went blank and all they could hear was her voice; telling them to kill themselves or to kill each other. Which they did.
In a moment, few dead bodies of vampires were lying on the ground of the palace. Eun Hui sighed, "Now I'm the one who should clean this mess." She let out another sigh before starting her cleaning job.
To be continued....
