Third Person POV
While Seunggyo and Maid Han were out to find S.Coups and the others, Haneul was left alone with her kids. As soon as she's done feeding Jaewoo, the little prince slowly drifted to sleep. Just then someone knocked on the door.
Haneul got up to get the door but her nose caught a smell, an unpleasant smell. "Eun Hui." She whispered as her fangs started to show. She created her wind proactive shields around her children before she opened the door, revealing the she-devil.
"Are you happy now, Eun Hui?" She looked at the other female with a death glare. Eun Hui just laughed at her. "Do you think this is enough for me? Of course no, lady! I won't stop unless I get my revenge. This is just the start. Your husband or the others weren't in the plan, initially. But guess who's decided to go to Hwayangyeonhwa and messed with my whole plan?" Eun Hui snickered.
"I won't let you destroy my kingdom or Hwayangyeonhwa kingdom!" Haneul was ready to shoot her with her wind bullets. "Just tell me who you are exactly, Eun Hui!!"
"Do you think I'm an idiot?" Eun Hui smirked. "I won't tell you. Even if I tell you..." Eun Hui glared at her, "I'll make sure you and your brats will be six feet under." Eun Hui's gazes landed on her children.
"Anyway I have another surprise for you. Better for you to find your husband to get your surprise." and with that Eun Hui walked away.
"Omma...." Gaeul called. Haneul turned towards her daughter. "You won't go right?" she asked her mother. Haneul waved her hands and the protective shields around her children disappeared. She bent down to Gaeul and Bomi. Bomi was probably too little to understand the situation, but not Gaeul. "Listen to omma, babies. We're not in a great situation right now. I have to do what I have to in order to protect the three of you." Haneul told her daughters.
Bomi pouted, looking at her mother with glassy eyes, "Appa?" she asked. Haneul stood up. "Appa won't be coming with us. It's only the four of us, I supposed." She then walked to the door. "Now, I'm going to find your father. Stay safe okay babies." Haneul walked out from the room, putting up a shield around the room and walked away from the place.
She walked around the palace in search of her husband even though she knew she wouldn't like whatever he's going to say to her.
She walked past every room in the palace but there's no sign of her husband or the others. And that was until she reached one of many discussion rooms there in the palace. She was about to open the door but she heard a familiar voice. Eun Hui's voice. And she could hear the others as well, including her husband. She was in there with them.
Haneul leaned close to the door, wanting to listen to their conversation.
"Sir Seungcheol, I really think Lady Haneul brings bad luck to this country."
"What do you mean?" She heard S.Coups answered.
"Think about it. She was the reason Sir Mingyu fought with his aunt right. At least that's what I've heard." Eun Hui asked.
Haneul angrily clenched her fist. But she couldn't be mad that much because she knew it well that it's a fact.
"Her late mother was the reason everything went wrong. And the bad luck was passed down to her now. Just looked at what happened recently. The King fell sick for a long time. The crops didn't grow up well. The palace got attacked by Hwayangyeonhwa and yet she still believes that it wasn't them. After that the chandelier fell and hurt your own daughter."
Haneul's blood was boiling when she heard that. *now you're blaming everything on me?? I might have no proof but I'm sure it was you behind all that, you snake!*
"So what do you suggest we should do?" Dino's voice was heard.
There was a moment of silence before, "We should kick her out from the kingdom." Eun Hui suggested.
Haneul's eyes widened in surprise. *Oppa...no. Please say no, Seungcheol oppa. Please say you disagree with her. Please-*
"I'll talk to her tonight." S.Coups voice was heard, agreeing with what Eun Hui suggested. And after that the other agreed with him as well.
Haneul covered her mouth with her hand, preventing her heavy sob from escaping. *N-No...* she stepped away from the room. She didn't think much but to run back to the King chamber where she left her kids.
Maid Han and Seunggyo were already in the chamber with the kids. Seunggyo was treating Maid Han's minor injury.
"My Lady!" Maid Han quickly got up and went to her. "My lady why are you crying??" She asked worriedly. Haneul just shook her head. She faked a smile. "I'm good. By the way, Seungie, did you talk to your brother?"
"We did...." Seunggyo answered. There's a hint of disappointment in his voice. "Did he say something bad about me? Did he say he hates me?" Haneul made a wild guess. Maid Han and Seunggyo just kept silent. Haneul let out an awkward, fake laugh. "I know he's not being himself. I know that's not him. I know she's controlling him and the others. I know he didn't mean it...But why does it hurt so much?" Haneul let her tears fall down her cheeks.
"M-My l-lady? Are y-"
"He agreed with her. He wants to kick me out. He didn't even fight for me!" Haneul fell on her knees. Seunggyo got up and quickly went to his sister in-law. Maid Han was already hugging her while she's crying along with her.
"Seunggyo patted her back. "Don't worry Haneul. I'll do anything to fix everything."
"No! You don't have to." Haneul looked up at him with her teary eyes. "I'm leaving the kingdom tonight." she decided.
"What?"
"My Lady, you can't!"
"I can't do this anymore! He's supposed to be my only love. We're mates. He's not supposed to be easily tricked like that. And yet, he hurts me." She was still crying. "I can't stay here anymore." she added.
Small hands wrapped around her. "Omma...." Bomi was crying as well. "Sorry baby but you're staying here with samchon." Haneul said but Gaeul raised her voice for the first time. "I don't want to! I'm coming with omma!" She could see Gaeul was holding in her tears.
"No, honey you can't. It's too dangerous for you to come along with me. Stay with your sister okay. Appa will be there too."
"But Appa doesn't want us anymore!" Gaeul finally burst out.
The adults in the room stayed silent.
"Appa doesn't love me or Bomi or Jaewoo. He doesn't love you anymore. I can feel it." Gaeul sobbed. "I don't want to stay here. I want to stay with omma." She cried.
Haneul went to hug her daughter. "Don't cry honey." "My lady?" Maid Han called her. "I think it's best for the kids to come along with you. Now that Eun Hui controls almost everyone in the palace, I'm not sure what else she could do to the kids."
"Maid Han is right, Haneul. It's too dangerous for the kids to stay here. Me and Maid Han will try everything to get them back to normal. Meanwhile, you can stay at my second mansion at the end of the town." The King offered but she shook her head. "We can't stay there, Seungie. Seungcheol oppa knows that place. He would send people to get me and the kids." Haneul said.
"Where do you go then?"
Haneul sighed. "No idea but I'll figure out something." "Give me a moment." Seunggyo went to his wardrobe, searching for something. "Here. Take this." He handed something to Haneul and she took it. It was the kingdom official emblem. "This is important for the kingdom but I guess you will need this. Show them the emblem and they shall lend a hand. But please don't go to Treasure Kingdom. I can't guarantee your safety there. Promise me." Seunggyo pleaded at her.
Haneul tightly held onto Seunggyo's hand. "Seungie, you're the kindest King and brother in-law ones can have. I owe you my life, Seungie." "You have to be strong Haneul. For hyung, for the kids. I promise to bring them back." Seunggyo promised her.
She gave him a hug, "I guess this is our goodbye....for now."
