You get jealous of your father ignoring you for Peter, so you have a big fight after a bunch of small ones and end up running away at 15. you were planning on joining SHIELD but end up incidentally joining Ethan's disbanded IMF team and while with them after a year you end up seeing clint after working with the team a bit and he tries to convince you to come home for like a full year but you don't so he sends tony your location and you find out and run away again telling Ethan that you have to go because you (not the rest of the team just you) have been compromised and so you give him a hug because he's become a sort of second father figure to you and you get picked up by Coulson who obviously can't tell your dad bc he's 'dead' so he lets you join the SHIELD team and you're 17 almost 18 at this point so it's legal for you to be there and you're with them and you become close with the team especially the bus kids so you're with them when ward betrays everyone and all of that happens and you get close to philinda and adopt them as your parents (you seriously have issues) and eventually see both ethan and your dad at a gala and you go back and forth trying to avoid your dad but you manage to try and see ethan and you're way older now like 22 but there's still an age gap and you don't see him as a father figure anymore but he never saw you as a daughter figure just a platonic teammate but you find out that you two have a similar mission so you talk to coulson about teaming up with them and he says sure as long as you're going to help with the shield team as well so you agree and over time you and ethan fall for each other and eventually accept it and you're at a bunch of galas and its tense between you and ethan because you and he
