"Hey guys?" Tony says loudly as he drags you into the living room, calling their attention. Steve looks up from his newspaper, nudging Bucky and Sam to stop their arguing, and Nat, Wanda, Thor, and Bruce look up from their movie. "J.A.R.V.I.S., please alert the Avengers that they are needed in the common room."

"Yes, Mr. Stark," J.A.R.V.I.S. replies in his monotone voice. Soon enough, Clint, Peter, Scott, and everyone else files in.

"Hey, what's up?" Steve asks, concerned. You can't look at him, keeping your head buried in your fathers chest.

Tony isn't buying any of it. He pushes you away, turning you to face the others, and holds you there so you can't go back. You struggle fruitlessly, and give up with a sigh, looking down at your feet.

"(Y/n)..." Tony prods softly as you sniffle.

The concern is growing on everyone else's faces, and seemingly out of nowhere you feel large arms encompass you as Steve hugs you.

"What's wrong, (y/n)?" Steve asks. You mumble a muffled reply, and he cocks an eyebrow. Unburying your head, you look up, but can't bear to see his soft, compassionate eyes, and look away.

"I- I'm..." you whisper, unable to say it, and decide to just spit it out.

"I'm pregnant." You shut your eyes, ready for Steve to release you and to be barraged with insults and an ultimatum for when you have to leave.

Instead, Steve surprises you, pulling you tighter into the hug. Your eyes still closed, you don't notice his shocked face as he stares at Tony, mouthing at him, how? who?

The room is utterly silent as everyone takes it in. You are the first to speak. "Come on, let's-" you sniffle, "l-let's get it o-over with." You sob sideways into Steve's shirt, looking at the ground.

"Hey, hey," Steve pushes you back a little and lifts your chin to look you in the eyes. "Get what over with?"

You mumble unintelligibly.

"Get what over with?" He repeats.

"You know."

Nat sighs and stands up, pushing Steve away as she hugs you. "Men," you hear her mutter under her breath, glaring daggers at him. She pulls away to talk to you. "We're not doing anything, (y/n). We aren't going anywhere. We'll be right here, right by your side. No ones mad at you, I promise. We won't kick you out or yell at you, we're staying right here."

You sob harder at the kind words, hugging her tighter. She just strokes your hair, looking at Tony. After a second, she cautiously asks, "What about the baby's daddy?"

"H-he bro-oke up wi-ith me when he- when he f-found out," you manage to get out.

"Oh I'm sorry, baby," Nat comforted you, rubbing your back. Her caring tone was a far cry from the hardened features on her face as she mouthed to Tony, name and address?

Noah, he mouths back, we'll take care of him at, say... 2300, does that work?

Perfectly. She winks slyly.

Your sniffles are the only thing heard in the shocked silence until Bruce breaks in. "I hate to interrupt, but am I the only one wondering what (y/n) is doing?"

Nat rotates you and herself so she can face Bruce and affix her death glare to him instead. "What we are doing."

Bruce nods, correcting himself. "So am I the only one wondering what we're doing?"

"Keeping it," Tony speaks up.

"What?" Wanda asks, surprised.

"Yeah. I suggested abortion, but (y/n) was against it. And for her, adoption is not an option." He gives a short, barking laugh at the accidental rhyme.

"You sure this is what you want, (y/n)?" Steve clarifies. You nod silently, still not meeting his eyes.

"Hey." He walks over and lifts your chin, to see no judgement in his eyes. "We're not mad. I'm not going anywhere. I'm worried, sure, but I'm proud of you."

"Although, next time, please use protection," Tony adds swiftly. You roll your eyes.

"Kind of too late for that, dad. And for your information, we did, I'm just one of the lucky 18% who got pregnant despite it."

"On another note," Thor begins in his booming voice, munching on a pop tart, "where shall we put lady (y/n)'s offspring when it comes?"

Everyone laughs, Thor's comment a necessary mood breaker.

"Ok, group hug!" Someone calls and you crowd in, happy at the acceptance and support from your dad and his and your friends.
