Knuckles and The Vampire

Prologue

Once upon a time at night, a beautiful white bat princess lived in a lovely castle. Although she had everything her heart desired, she was selfish and unkind. A servant appears to her room as she gets ready for the party.

Servant: Princess Rouge, it's time.

Rouge: Thanks, Chip, I'll be down later.

The servant named Chip flies to the ballroom.

At the ballroom, A female orange and brown badger messes with a black and red hedgehog servant using a candle.

Hedgehog: Sticks, put that away. Fire's not a toy. We can play later.

Sticks: I know, my dear Shadow. *Giggles*

A female pink hedgehog goes up to Sticks and scolds her with a firm but fair voice.

Hedgehog: Sticks, leave Shadow alone so he can work.

Sticks: Oh, sorry, Amy.

Sticks and Shadow get back to work while Amy rubs her head to calm herself down. A young female raccoon named Marine Speedstar hides behind her father, Sonic Speedstar, who's a blue hedgehog.

Marine: Papa, why's Mrs. Rose angry?

Sonic: She's just tired, Marine. It's a busy night tonight, just mind your own business on that noggin of yours, okay; honey?

Music is played by a young yellow male 2-tailed fox named Miles 'Tails' Prower while his wife: a cream and orange rabbit named Cream Prower sings to the music as their dog: Angel sits on the piano played by Tails.

Rouge sits her throne before she sees a rich male green crocodile merchant named Vector talking to some other merchants while his echidna son: Knuckles reads a book.

Knuckles scampers off to let his father talk to the merchants for a while as Rouge gets up from her throne and goes to him without him noticing.

Rouge: Why hello there, what are doing here on your own?

Knuckles hears her and talks to her without looking up from his book.

Knuckles: I don't like to be around other people even though I've known them for half my life.

Rouge: Why don't you take a break from reading and spend some time on the dance floor? Your father seems kind of busy right now, and parties are meant to be fun; you look like you need it.

Knuckles closes his book and sits up not knowing he left it there. Amy sees this and motions Cream and Tails to make the music soft and romantic. 

Unfortunately, it ends as Vector gets into an argument with another merchant while Knuckles' friends: a male purple chameleon named Espio and a male yellow and black bee named Charmy restrain Vector from making the fight any worse.

Knuckles: Sorry, ma'am. I better go and help my father.

Rouge: I'm sure he'll be fine, your mother might help him there.

Knuckles: I... Don't have a mother. She passed away when I was young, so it's my job to help my father. 

He walks off and talks to Vector as Rouge looks angry and sad.

Knuckles: Father, can we leave?

Vector: Yeah, Knux, we may. 

He then walks to Rouge.

Vector: Princess Rouge, I respect you but my son isn't a rare breed of a lost puppy that you can just take in.

The croc then turns to Tails.

Vector: No offence to your dog, Tails.

The fox pauses to talk to Vector.

Tails: None taken, she's used to it. 

Angel barks as Tails continues playing. Vector turned back to the princess.

Vector: He has responsibilities and you only want him to lovely and rich. 

He walks out with Knuckles. Charmy wanted to stay, though.

Charmy: Aww, but the party was getting good, let's stay for just a little longe-.

He gets grabbed by the foot by Espio.

Charmy: Whoa!

Espio: Nope. 

The chameleon takes Charmy to the door, following Vector and Knuckles. Rouge turned to the crowd.

Rouge: Don't worry, just continue. 

She walks back to her throne, angry on the inside.

Rouge: Who does that croc think he is? Talking to a princess like that?

An hour later, the party was in full swing, Chip was helping himself to the buffet center, as Shadow and Sticks were dancing in the crowd and Amy was talking to the guests while checking the time. Rouge had a feeling she was watched and sees a old woman in a green cloak with purple colors inside and a brown bandana on her head. 

Rouge: I hate to interrupt the party but someone didn't dress right.

Old lady: Wow, looks are more important to you.

Rouge: They are to everyone except you, clearly.

Old lady: You... Spoiled, arrogant bat! You only care for yourself!

Suddenly, the woman changed to a teenaged female purple swallow in lovely white clothes.

Rouge stood in shock as the guests flee the room. Shadow held Sticks, Amy was shocked that she dropped the pocket watch she was holding, Marine was in her father's arm while Sonic tried to comfort her as Chip flew to Rouge's side.

Enchantress: You've been on top for too long, others tried to change you but you wouldn't listen!

Rouge: I-I'm sorry, I'll try harder! Please, spare me!

Enchantress: You lost your chance. 

She gives a rose to Rouge.

Enchantress: If you didn't help that echidna's father, I wouldn't be here. Now, you'll become the girl who you are meant to be.

Then, the Enchantress uses a spell on Rouge, who groans at the transformation as the light blinds her and the servants.
