"I'll see you, when I get back" Ben sighed sadly, as he was about to leave the temple, due to a mission requesting his presence on Naboo.

"Be safe, Ben, I'm gonna miss you, even though you'll be gone for a couple of days" Rey sighed back sadly, she was about to see her Best Friend and not to mention crush leave her.

"When am I not safe?" Ben blew raspberry at her.

"All the time" Rey giggled slightly at his obliviousness.

"No I'm not" Ben denied

"Whatever helps you sleep at night" Rey rolled her eyes.

"Well it's not going to help me sleep at night" Ben muttered

"Wow, your mind actually began to move its gears!" Rey sarcastically said as a joke.

"Shut up" Ben scoffed playfully

"I wish I had a record book, this probably would be the only time you actually use your head" Rey continued with her sarcasm

"Don't you want to know why, I wouldn't be able to sleep at night?" Ben rolled his eyes, at Rey's sarcasm.

"Why?" Rey asked while crossing her arms.

"Because you wouldn't be there" Ben gave her the Solo smile.

"Very smooth, Ben" Rey covered up her surprise and hopefully her blush with a confident tone.

"Are you blushing?" Ben teased her by leaning his body forward.

"I'm not blushing" Rey denied, as she tried to subconsciously convince herself she wasn't, knowing well that she was.

"Whatever helps you sleep at night" Ben mocked

"Just shut up and go before the ship leaves without you" Rey laughed, ruffling his hair just to leave it messy.

"Hey! You know, it takes a long time, to get my hair like this." Ben complained while fixing his hair back where it was.

"Mm I like it better, this way" Rey ruffled his hair again, making it go back to its previous position.

"Fine. I'll keep it like this, for you." Ben chuckled

"Be back soon" Rey whispered as she wrapped her arms around his torso, despite their height difference, Ben laid his chin on the top of her head, inhaling her amber and sandalwood scent.

"I will." Ben laughed at her clingy demeanor.

"Promise?" Rey asked

"Promise" Ben echoed

"Ben, we're about to leave" Luke called from afar

"Coming!" Ben yelled and quickly turned towards Rey.

"It's only a couple of days. I'll make sure to stay in touch though." Ben smirked, when Rey's face lit up with Joy.

"Tell me how everything goes" Rey smiled sadly

"I will. I love you" Ben said and gave her a short but blissful kiss on the lips.

Ben jogged off with a grin plastered on his face, leaving Rey in a shocked state.

"Ooooohhh!!!" Some girls squealed, excitedly

"Mmph" Some girls grumbled, in jealousy

"I didn't know, you and Ben were a thing!" Natasha a student at the Temple side shoved her gently, in a quirky way.
