I then felt a hand touch over mine. It was warm and the presence — It felt calming. I look down — Rey. She opened her eyes and had a look of confusion but it suddenly vanished when her eyes met mine. She sat up with a surprised expression. I looked at her and took in every feature that I've missed.

"Ben" I hear her say breathlessly and a smile playing on her face. Her Smile. The only thing I can hear is both of us breathing. Her hazel eyes lit up with happiness. I can't believe I have been missing all of this. All this time. It is her. Before I can do anything she brought her lips to mine. We both kissed passionately. Everything we've been through was put into that kiss — Sadness, happiness, shock, hunger, and passion. We both pulled apart to catch our breath. I smiled and had a little laugh. My eyes were still closed. I want to savor this moment forever in my memory. I open my eyes to see Rey smiling big and tears threatening to escape. I cup her face with both of my hands and she leans into my left one smiling while tears rolled down. I then brought her face to my lips and kissed her tears away. She then straddled my lap and hugged me tightly.

"I'm here sweetheart — I'm here — and I'm not leaving" I whisper into her ear and I can feel her nodding and more tears falling on my back.

"I missed you" she sobs on to my shoulder

"I missed you too" I reply. She then pulled away and put her forehead against mine.
