I was excited, nervous, scared, and unsure. I found out that i was a somewhat powerful force user. Usually when people think about force users they think about how they make things float and think about the legendary Luke Skywalker. When it comes to me... the only thing i can think about is... him.
Flashback to 8 year old Ben and Rey
Rey was laying on top of a hill watching the color of the sky turn into a beautiful yellow/orange sky. She always waited for Ben in the mornings. They have been doing this forever... well at least as long she can think of. Rey closed her eyes and took in the scent of the morning, the birds chirping, the sound of the wind passing by as in a greet of hello. She loved the mornings and she loved spending them with Ben. Suddenly, she heard footsteps behind her, opening her eyes she looked to her side to see a very tired looking Ben laying beside her on the fine morning. Ben opened his eyes a smiled softly at her happy to see her face.
"Good Morning!" Rey bounced up into a sitting position.
"Good morning" Ben sighed contently at the sudden burst of energy coming from her.
"what took you so long?" she asked him and he sat up too.
"well i couldn't bring myself out of bed.." ben sighed sadly while playing with the grass.
"how come?" she asked him curiously
"uh.... well.... i.... ehhhh...." Ben said nervously trying to come up with a excuse to hide from rey that he was leaving today.
"hmmm... OH I KNOW! is it a surpriiiissseeee?" Rey wiggled her eyebrows while smiling. Ben couldn't help but laugh.
"well... no" Ben stated and she slumped throwing herself back on the ground laying flat on her back.
"then?"
"im not a morning person.... thats all..." Ben lied sounding unsure if he was even telling the truth but not only to rey but to himself also.... he only liked the mornings because he got to see rey.
"oh... yeah i understand... i get like that sometimes too" rey giggled and he let out a tiny sigh of relief. How was he gonna bring up the topic to her when she was so happy.... he didn't want to ruin her mood.
"no you don't!" ben joked and she scrunched her face at him
"yes i do" she argued.
"oh boy" ben thought to himself and chuckled
"whats so funny?" rey said sassily while crossing her arms
"hm? oh nothing" ben smirked.
"ben solo, you better tell me" rey said eagerly.
