I feel like I could've made this a better plot but let me know and I'll remake another one just like this because I feel like I half assed it. Enjoy!

I was on Jakku ever since I was 9 years old. I was at the resistance base with Ben playing around with sticks acting as if they were lightsabers. I still remember it like it was yesterday.

"Prepare to get beaten!" Younger Rey yells

"We'll see" younger Ben says with confidence and cockiness in his tone

"What you don't believe me?" My younger self asks

"Mm well I do but then when I do I don't" Younger Ben says and I scoff in a joking way

"Alright then! Watch it Ben or else the only thing that you will be doing is standing there solo with your stick in my hand" my younger self jokes

"Mm okay" he says and gets his stick ready as do I. We both charge at each other and start battling. Ben and I both knew each other's weaknesses and told each other what we can improve on by the end of the battle to who ever won or said "okay let's stop" or "I don't want to do this anymore" or "I'm tired". We then heard a ship landing.

"Someone's coming to the Base?" Younger Ben asks

"I think — so" younger Rey says and then her eyes go wide in shock to see white troopers step out of the ship.

"Rey — I think that "someone" is the first order" younger ben says and looks at me. Despite our height difference and that I had to look up at him we both ran to the Escape pod hangar.

"There's an attack get your weapons ready!" We both heard a resistance member yell to the others

"Ben and Rey! Get them both the the escape pod hangar!" I hear Leia yell from a distance.

"Mom!" Ben yells and starts to run to her.

"Ben!" I yell and he turns around

"We have to go!" I yell again And he nods. We both ran to the hangar and there was a big explosion from it sending us flying back. Ben and I both groaned in pain.

"Rey there's only one more left" Ben says and I turn to him

"That's no problem we'll go together" I say and start running to the pod with ben

"Rey — we're not going to fit" Ben says and I turn to him.

"We'll fit Ben — we - we just have to figure a - a way in there maybe if I lay on top of you?" I suggest and he shakes his head

"No sweetheart it's not going to work there isn't enough room. Now get in there" Ben says and his hand starts to gesture to the pod.

"No Ben I'm not leaving you!" I yell and begin to cry.

"You're not. I'm going to send you somewhere where we will find you. I promise. I'll see if I can find another pod okay" Ben says

"No ben! We are going to do this together!" I yell and he puts his hands on my shoulders.

"Rey — I'm so sorry" he says and gives me a hug and carries me inside the pod closing the hatch and putting it on lock.

"BEN NO! NO BEN! STOP! STOP! IM NOT LEAVING YOU BEN! BEN!" I yell through the little window hitting it. On bens other point of view all he can hear is muffled yells.
