Parent Day

"Okay everybody. As you know today is Parent Day. So you will be spending your whole entire day with your parents and catch up with them. Enjoy your day" Luke announced

Rey looked down as her hood hid her face. Ben who sat next to her looked at her with sad eyes.

"Rey, you can spend the day with my family if you'd like" Ben offered while rubbing his thumb on her knuckles softly.

"I don't want to ruin the moment" Rey
muttered in a sad tone.

"They won't mind, I promise you" Ben said but she only shook her head.

"I'll be fine, Ben." Rey looked up and put on a fake smile. Ben who was not convinced looked at her with a frown.

"You're coming with me" Ben said and grabbed Rey by the hand and dragged her out of the meeting room.

"Ben, what are you doing?" Rey exclaimed as she tried to pull away from his firm grip.

"You are spending time with me and my parents end of discussion." Ben quickly said and led her to the hangar where you are met with your parents.

"But- but- I told you" Rey began to disagree until Ben shut her up by crashing his lips against hers muffling her protests.

"I said end of discussion" Ben muttered his face inches away from her giving her a 'don't even try again' stare.

"Fine" Rey grumbled

"I knew you'd agree with me" Ben smirked and continued to hold her hand as they saw The Millennium Falcon land. Out walked Leia and Han the iconic couple.

"Ben" Leia smiled and opened her arms for him. Ben hugged her and then was almost hesitant to hug his dad since the awkwardness would be at its maximum but he did anyway.

"Nice to see you, son" Han nodded while Ben nodded back

"Rey" Leia chuckled and walked up giving her a hug.

"Hi Leia" Rey greeted returning the hug.

"Hey kid" Han said and hugged her as well.

"Hi Han" Rey returned the hug.

"How have you been?" Leia asked

"I've been good. How about you and Han?" Rey replied as she held Bens hand while they went on a stroll.

"Well Han has been smuggling as usual" Leia glared at Han who shrugged "I have been leading the resistance still also"

"How's the resistance doing so far?" Ben asked

"We need more recruits if we want to defeat the First Order" Leia sighed

"I'm sure you will find some, Leia, We need to have hope" Rey encouraged

"Thank you, Rey, I'm sure we will" Leia replied softly

"How about smuggling, Han?" Rey asked

"Eh... it's been the same as usual" Han shrugged with a chuckle. Rey could hear some of Ben's thoughts about Han's response. She didn't want to invade his privacy so she just ignored them but squeezed his hand tightly. She looked up at him and he looked down at her with a soft smile. Ben then leaned forward giving her a kiss on the forehead.  Parents have watched along with the students as they strolled by. Some in jealousy and some in just... well because they are nosy.

"How's your relationship?" Leia asked curiously

"It's good, mom" Ben answered while wrapping his arm around Rey tightly while Rey nodded in agreement.
