"Do you really have to go? I think Poe and Finn can deal with the mission" Rey complained as she tugged on his arm as he was about to walk out the door.

"As much as I want to stay I have to go for my mom since she's stuck here for a while." Ben chuckled

"But Finn and Poe can do that can't they?" Rey complained again

"They have a different type of mission on Naboo. I have to meet up with the Senator of Naboo to negotiate for stronger weapons and more people" Ben sighed while Rey huffed

"I don't want you to go" Rey groaned and hugged his arm.

"My mom needs you...." Ben said putting a hair behind her ear "the resistance needs you"

"Promise you will be back soon?" Rey exhaled through her nose in defeat.

"I promise sweetheart.... now will you let go of my arm I think your cutting off my circulation" Ben said and she quickly let go.

"Sorry" She apologized and Ben chuckled while shaking his head

"I'll be back before you know it." Ben reassured

"Better be" Rey grinned as he pulled her against him and kissed her passionately.

"I love you" Rey sighed in content

"I know" Ben grinned and gave her one last peck.

"Care to walk me to the ship before I leave my little Rey of Sunshine?" Ben asked

"Yes I will" Rey giggled and held his hand tightly. They both walked out of the door and went to the hangar to be greeted with Finn, Poe, and Leia along with the resistance.

"You ready solo?" Poe smirked

"Sure am" Ben replied

"Ben I'm sorry for sending you on this mission" Leia apologized

"It's alright mom." Ben smiled in reassurance hugging her and giving her a kiss on the top of her head.

"I'll make sure to come back with better weapons and more people" Ben continued as Leia smiled at him proudly

"Okay. Hurry the sooner the better" Leia laughed

"Right. Bye mom love you" Ben said quickly and ran towards the ship where Finn and Poe were waiting to close the ship.

"Ben you dummy your lightsaber!" Rey giggled holding it. Ben checked his belt and looked at her with a smirk knowing that she snuck it from his belt so he can stay longer.

"I wonder how that got there" Ben said playfully as Rey giggled. Rey threw the saber at him knowing it was dangerous but he used the force to bring it towards his hand.

"Thank you sweetheart. Love you too" Ben yelled at her then the ramp closed.

Rey sat down on the table reading the Jedi Texts until her thoughts came crashing in like a wave.

"Isn't the Senator a young woman?"

"What if Ben falls in love with her"

"Why am I not good enough?"

"Why did he fall in love with a scavenger like me?"

"I hope he's okay"

"I miss him"

"Is he coming back soon?"

"I don't want to sleep alone I want him to be there with me"
