Mishaps

"Come on Poe!" Rey yelled as they ran away from Stormtroopers

"I'm trying!" Poe yelled back as he watched his step. The ground began to break beneath them and they where almost at the ship.

"Chewie! Start the ship!" Ben yelled into his comm

"Did you guys get the information?" Leia asked

"Yeah we did but we might not be able to return it if somebody doesn't hurry up!" Ben complained mainly to Poe who was behind.

"Thanks!" Poe yelled sarcastically

"The grounds breaking!" Rey worriedly yelled

"SHIT!!" Poe exclaimed as he got his foot stuck

" you are going to be the death of us I swear" Ben said and ran over to a struggling Poe.

"A little help!" Poe exclaimed

"What does it look like I'm trying to do?!" Bens sarcasm got the best of him. Poe's foot wouldn't budge so Ben used the force to pull Poe out. Poe then flung over and landed on his back. The ground then collapsed and Ben dropped down with it.

"BEN!" Rey yelled and ran away from the ship to where he fell.

"Ben!" Poe yelled and scrambled his way to see if he was still alive. When he looked down Ben was hanging on for dear life.

"Ben Hold on!" Poe yelled

"Oh really?! Thanks for that Poe because I was thinking about just letting go!" Ben yelled back and Poe gave a look to him

"You don't have to be such a dick about it!" Poe yelled waving his hands with exaggeration to the side

"Why am I even friends with those idiots" Rey muttered and began to help Ben up along with Poe. Once they got Ben up they ran to the ship and quickly sat down in the seats.

"Hurry Chewie!" Ben ordered and Chewie nodded and they took off into space.

"Thank goodness" Rey sighed in relief

"You made it?!" Leia said hopefully

"we did" Rey laughed As cheers can be heard from the other side of the comm.

"It would've went faster if somebody wasn't taking forever" Ben muttered

"at least it can't get any worse" Poe began until there was a rumble and the alerts started to go off. Behind them were about 10-15 tie fighters shooting at them. Another rumble came from the ship. Ben looked over to Poe with a glare.

"My god you're a fucking jinx" Ben scolded Poe and ran to the weapons room.

"Rey what's happening?" Leia questioned

"We are being shot at." Rey told Leia

"Chewie go above them so I can shoot down from there!" Ben called and Chewie growled. Ben shot down 3 tie fighters.

"We can light speed skip!" Poe yelled

"Are you crazy?!" Ben yelled

"You can't light speed skip the Falcon!" Rey reminded but Poe shrugged it off as nothing

"Well we don't have much of a choice don't we?" Poe asked

"Yeah we do" Ben began until Poe ran to the pilots seat and flipped switches to light speed skip.

"Hang on!" Poe yelled as a warning

"Poe!" Rey yelled alerted until he went into light speed

"What are you doing!" Ben yelled at Poe while shooting down tie fighters that also light speed skipped

"Maybe we can lose them!" Poe answered

"I'm going to kill you" Ben muttered and shot down 6 more tie fighters.

"Crap!" Poe exclaimed when he saw a huge creature open its mouth and spiraled the falcon out of the way. 1 tie fighter flew into it but there were 2 remaining. The weapon got jammed so Ben couldn't move it

"Poe the weapon is jammed I need you to fly in a 90 degree angle!" Ben yelled out to Poe

"Give me a minute!" Poe yelled back

"We don't have a minute!" Ben yelled back and Poe rolled his eyes

"You both are insane!" Rey yelled holding on to the chair. Poe swirled the Falcon into a 90 degree angle where Ben shot down the remaining tie fighters.

"WOOO!!" Ben cheered and Poe laughed

"We did it Leia! We did it!" Rey exclaimed in surprise

"That's great! Return to base" Leia sighed in relief

"Okay. Hold on" Rey trailed off. The alarms began to go off.

"Kriff the Falcon is on fire!" Poe said and ran quickly ran off the ramp once they landed.

People were outside waiting and putting out the fire. Ben ran out and his face turned into a glare.

"God dammit Poe! First you get us behind! you make me risk my life because you got your foot stuck! Then you jinxed us when we were heading here! You light speed skipped my dads ship! And now it's on fire! I'm never going on a damn mission with you ever again!" Ben scoffed

"Hey at least we made it! And I know you don't mean that" Poe said to Ben while Ben narrowed his eyes at him.

"We'll see" Ben told him and quickly grabbed a fire extinguisher to put the last of the fire out.

"You okay?" Rey giggled

"I could be better" Ben sighed while Rey kissed his cheek. Ben looked at Rey who winked and walked away to who knows where. Ben was left with a flushed face and he quickly hid it.

"You're blushing" Poe said right in his ear. Ben looked at him and smacked him lightly with the force and chuckled.

"Shut up" Ben smirked and walked away.
