Bens Redemption (minor smut)

Reys POV

I was in the cafeteria with Finn, Poe, Rose, Chewie, and Leia, along with other resistance members. I keep on getting an odd feeling that felt familiar... too familiar. I suddenly remember that Ben and I share a bond with one another. It's been a while since we had our last bond. I felt the familiar vibration around me and I felt Leias eyes stare right into me. I excused myself and walked out of the cafeteria and ran to my bedroom. I closed the door and locked it making sure nobody can come in. I went to my office which was farthest away from my door so nobody can hear what I'm saying if they ever chose to eavesdrop. I then felt it... I felt him... he was right behind me staring at me.

"Rey" he said ever so softly but alarmed and panicked. I turn around to see a worried expression that was trying to be calmed down. I walked up to him and studied him.

"What is it, Ben?" I say with a calm demeanor even though he is making me worried myself.

"T-There's going to be an a-attack"he barely says due to the shakiness in his voice.

"Hm something we can handle" I shrug off

"No rey you don't understand! The Death Star is going to attack! What are you going to do? It's almost there and Im here trying to save you, my mother, and your friends lives!" He practically sobs. I really then began to worry. Did Ben really care about my friends?

"I just want you both to be safe... and if you aren't then I feel like that's on me and I could've stopped it..." he then wraps me in a hug and buries his face in my hair. Never would I have actually thought that this moment would ever come in my life. Ben Solo.

"Just please go before it's too late. You have 35 minutes" Ben breaks the hug apart and looks at me with his warm brown eyes that looks just like his mothers. The same facial features as his father. This was Ben. Without even thinking I went on my tippie toes and kissed him passionately. He was surprised at first which made me pull away a bit but he deepened the kiss. I smiled against it and we both pulled away breathlessly. Our foreheads both connected and we had our eyes closed.

"Go Rey. Before it's too late" Ben opens his eyes looking at me with hope.

"Okay" I nod and give him a quick peck and the connection ends. I ran out of the office and to the door quickly pressing the buttons to unlock the door. Once I opened the door I look to see Poe, Finn, Rose, Chewie, and Leia waiting out there impatiently.

"What in the- okay nevermind. We need to evacuate now! The Death Star is coming and we don't have much time!" I quickly say and they look at each other confused.

"Let's go now!" I urgently say and they nod.

"Rey come with me" Leia said softly and gestured her hand out for me to take. I took her hand and we began to walk. Why are we walking when we need to evacuate? Never mind that I shouldn't be questioning leia.

"Rey... I felt it too" Leia says out of the blue look directly at me studying my face.

"You- you did?" I surprisingly say

"I felt my son, Rey. He's coming back. He's turning." Leia happily says and tears brimmed her eyes. "And I don't know how much I can thank you, Rey. I thought I lost him until you came. That's when I knew my son would be redeemed."

I nodded and smiled at her. She then wrapped me in a comforting hug.

"I also know, you had a moment with him" Leia sheepishly says during the hug and I blushed. "You love him don't you."

"I do..." I respond warmly thinking back to the kiss we shared not too long ago.

"I know that he loves you too, I can feel it" Leia then smiled and let out a happy sigh and squeezed my hand. "Will I be expecting grandchildren anytime soon?"
