(Amethyst) I can't believe we're going to suck up to Steven just to make him tell us how he knew about Rose's Spring and how he found Moonlight.
(Garnet) It's important to know. What if he plots something against us? He might know something we don't.
(Pearl) I don't like the fact that we have to be false to get information out of someone.
(Amethyst) Why do you even care? You hate his guts.
(Pearl) I never said I cared about him. I don't want to pretend I actually like him.
(Garnet) Talk like that is what made Steven so aggressive towards us. Besides, you and him need to make up.
(Pearl) Make up?
(Amethyst) She wants you and him to not hate each other.
(Pearl) But--
(Amethyst) For the last time, P, he didn't make Rose run away.
(Garnet) Let's see what he's doing now.
They exited the Temple and went outside. They could Steven and Moonlight standing together but observing something. But an invisible flower is also there with them.
(Amethyst) What are they doing?

As she placed the device, Steven noticed the three gems who despised him were watching him and Moonlight.
(Steven) What do you three want? We're busy.
(Amethyst) We were just... Um--

(Pearl) But--

Rose: Now, Steven. Didn't Phoebe teach you manners? Besides, you should try making peace with them.
(Steven) (sighs) Fine...

(Steven) Moonlight gave it to me.

Rose used the thorns on her arm to poke Moonlight.
