Present time
Steven was packing his suitcase.
(Steven) Are you ready? It's time to go.
(???) [Upstairs] I'm coming!
His roommate said.
(???) [Upstairs] Hey, Steven, how long are we gonna stay at Beach City?
(Steven) For about a month, maybe longer.
He started looking for his pink jacket. He couldn't find it.
(Steven) Is my jacket up there?
(???) [Upstairs] Yeah, you want to bring it?
(Steven) Yes. It might get cold.
(???) [Upstairs] All right.
He heard footsteps and his roommate was coming down, wearing the jacket.
(???) All right, let's go.
(Steven) Take it off.
(???) Fine...
He took it off and gave it to Steven.
(???) Killjoy.
(Steven) Let's go.
They both got into the car.
(???) I can't wait to meet your gem friends. They sound interesting.
(Steven) Let's hope they welcome you with open arms.
He starts the car and he drove back to Beach City.
10 hours later
At Beach City
Steven parks the car. His roommate was asleep.
(Steven) Hey, wake up. We're here.
He shook him awake.
(???) (Mumbles) Hmm? Oh, yeah. All right, let's go inside.
They got out of the car and was walking up the porch.
(???) It's a nice house. Is there anyone home?
(Steven) Four gems live here.
He opens the front door and sees more than four gems. There was Pearl, Garnet, Amethyst, Peridot, Lapis, Bismuth, Spinel, and Greg.
(???) That's a lotta ladies.
(Everyone) STEVEN!
Before any of the two humans at the front door knew what happened next, Steven was tackled by Spinel into a hug and everyone else joined the hug.
(???) I know you said they liked you but dang!
(Spinel) Oh, I forgot Steven was bringing a friend.
(Steven) How did you know?
(Garnet) Future Vision.
(Steven) Figures.
They finally released.
(Pearl) So, Steven, whose your friend?
(Steven) He's a roommate and his name is Howard.
(Howard) 'Sup?
(Steven) This is Pearl.
(Pearl) Hello Howard.
She held out her hand for him to shake and he did.
