3rd Person P.O.V.
The group made it back to Homeworld and at the Palace doors. Yellow kicked the doors open.
(Yellow Diamond) Where are you?!
(Charlotte) Over here.
She's sitting on White Diamond's chair.
(Charlotte) You've found them all. Well done.
(Garnet) The game is over, Charlotte. You've lost.
(Charlotte) Lost? I fear it isn't over.
(White Diamond) What are you talking about?
(Charlotte) There's still corrupted gems out there. The whole point of getting those off was to cure the gems, right?
They had forgotten about that.
(Charlotte) (dramatic gasp) You forgot about those poor gems? What kind of rulers are you if you don't care for your subjects being reduced to monsters?
(Yellow Diamond) You're to blame for all of this.
(Pink Diamond) Howard's death is on you!
(Charlotte) Me? I didn't do anything. I wasn't the one who jumped down there and had him save my life over a key. He didn't die because of me. He died because of you.
(Blue Diamond) We wouldn't be in this mess if not for you.
(Charlotte) No one would be in any mess of not for you four.
(White Diamond) Stop saying we're responsible for this!
(Charlotte) Why? It's the truth.
(Yellow Diamond) We may be responsible for the lives that were taken from the past, but unlike you, we've changed for the better. And yes, we're aware that won't magically fix everything, but it's a start for redemption and forgiveness. How I changed is that I learned losing my temper won't help anybody.
(Blue Diamond) And I learned that I shouldn't make others feel my pain.
(Pink Diamond) I learned that being careless and throwing tantrums will hurt others, including myself.
(White Diamond) I learned that being perfect isn't everything.
Charlotte took a moment before she bursted out laughing.
(Charlotte) (laughing) Oh, my goodness! What a riot!
She clutched her stomach. She eventually stopped laughing.
(Charlotte) Wow, you all learned life lessons over the years. That's great. Is this what you learned from Steven? To sudden talk about past mistakes and then everything goes back to normal in a happily ever after? Well, congratulations! You have utterly bested me! You have DEFEATED me!
(Pink Diamond) Really?
(Charlotte) NO, NOT REALLY, YOU IDIOT!
She shows uncharacteristic anger.
(Charlotte) (sighs) Did you really think it'll work?
(Pink Diamond) Yes...
(Charlotte) I knew you would, because you're so gullible.
