One month later
Homeworld has improved a lot after the defeat of Lord Dominator and the return of Steven Universe, except nobody but his friends knew he was gone. With the new governor implementing her laws and program officials, Homeworld has been safe. Surprisingly, the inmates who agreed to be a part of the community service aren't showing resistance to the new rules, probably because they know that the consequences are very, very cruel.
During the time on Earth, Steven and Phoebe tried figuring out what the messages were about. They have a clear indication that it's about the Diamonds, but their creators? Steven asked the Diamonds if they remembered the beginning of their lives and they each responded differently, but with the same outcome.
"We were formed like any other gem, we knew our purpose from the start." -Yellow Diamond.
"We hardly knew each other at first, but we just had our mindset about the empire we created." -Blue Diamond.
"All I remember is that we were wanting to start the empire." -Pink Diamond.
"No one else was around but us. I'm not sure anyone else was there." -White Diamond
Steven and Phoebe kept the messages to themselves since it probably means nothing since the Diamonds aren't aware of their creators. Last night, Steven had a nightmare about Phoebe. He was given an option to either kill her and everyone lives, or everyone but her dies.
He didn't make a choice before he woke up. Today, Steven brushes his teeth and cleans up before starting his day. He walks downstairs to see Howard, Moonlight and a bag of cheeseballs.
(Steven) What are you two doing?
(Howard) Steven, watch this. Go!
Moonlight reaches for a cheeseball and tosses it at Howard. He catches it with his mouth.
(Moonlight) Yes!
(Steven) Impressive.
Howard reaches for a cheeseball and tossed it at Moonlight. She chomped her teeth and they sounded like knives clanged, the cheeseball was obliterated by the touch of her teeth.
(Howard) It's kinda unfair. Your mouth is bigger than my head. You can catch anything.
(Moonlight) Is my mouth bigger than your head?
(Howard) I think.
(Moonlight) Let's find out.
Before he could give her permission or to protest, she grabs his waist and opened her mouth as wide as she could. Howard was beyond nervous due to seeing the bloodstains on her teeth. It was like looking inside a shark's mouth.
Her teeth is just inches away from touching his face and felt her saliva dripping on his hair. She could devour his entire head whole if she choses to close her jaws. He didn't dare to squirm because it would most definitely escalate into an accident that would need the healing water to fix.
