"Why did you do that?" Hazel gasped in shock.
"If a man has two wings, it means that he can fly to heaven. Meaning, he's an angel and I'm not one. Actually, I'm not even a good person," he stated.
"Can you see your back Mr. Oh?"
"No," he furrowed...

4:30 pm - Art club
Erica hurriedly made her way to the art club in the evening. To begin with, Erica loved art. The foreign lands that she wished to visit, the hybrid species of animals, the vile demons, the calm saints, the fantastical islands - you name it and she would replicate them onto her canvas.
She felt immensely proud of herself that day because she had been complimented by her dad. Her dad was a security guard of a playground. He often had a hard time shooing away the rogue guys who would trespass the private ground. As a part of their revenge against the poor old man, they had graffitied vulgar images on the outer walls and Erica with her magical hands had turned the obscene images into magnum opus.
She dragged the wooden stool and sat in her usual place by the window and stared at the bright red eyes of the pigeon perched on the sill. "I'll feed you my lunch, pigeon." She smiled.
Apart from loving art, she also loved feeding pigeons in her pastime.
Sunshine was swarming the weather outside and she observed the woman walking with a polka dotted umbrella to save herself from the scorching heat. Erica loved the beautiful hazy summer as it reminded her of Japan, the place where she had spent most of her childhood. In the island, she had spent her warm summer days eating the freshly picked peaches with her grandpa and visiting the temples (寺 Tera) during the evening.
"Yes," she murmured to herself, positioning the easel closer, a toothy smile appearing on her face as she imagined the painting she'd draw on the white canvas. She was in the mood to draw rosy peaches and sun-kissed daisies.
"Good evening class." A sharp voice broke out.
It was followed by the quietening of students and stools squeaking as they stood up to wish their art teacher except for Erica who was moving her pencil along the canvas. Mrs. Noh cleared her throat, "Erica."
Breaking out of her reverie, Erica shot up from her seat to wish the teacher. Her voice was a mere whisper but she thought that Mrs. Noh should be glad cause under usual circumstances, when whishing along with the class, she would simply move her mouth, not wanting to waste energy in actually telling a 'Good Evening'. That was how she always did and the last time she did that, Mrs. Noh practically threw her a snide look.
