"Why did you do that?" Hazel gasped in shock.
"If a man has two wings, it means that he can fly to heaven. Meaning, he's an angel and I'm not one. Actually, I'm not even a good person," he stated.
"Can you see your back Mr. Oh?"
"No," he furrowed...

The classes ended at twelve given the first day of school. Deciding to spend time feeding their inquisitive minds, both made their way to the school library.
Upon reaching, Kyungsoo's eyes lit up. "This is the place where I spend most of my time."
"Not surprised, nerdy boy." She cooed.
Hundreds of books were stacked in an orderly fashion on rows of wooden shelves, each book shouting out that its contents cannot be judged by its cover. Roaming about in the 'Young Adult' section, the two were hunting for a book. She had spent all her time reading novels and watching Netflix in her bedroom back in San Franciso which was why she found it near to impossible to scour the shelf for something she hadn't read. Kyungsoo was fast enough to choose a book named 'If I stay'. Seeing that Kyungsoo had already picked one, Hazel randomly grabbed a book for herself.
"We'll sit there," Hazel urged, nudging Kyungsoo. The librarian shushed her from across the room. She smiled oddly in return.
At the back of the library was a huge window that overlooked the vast garden of the school. The noon sun filtered in through the glass, giving the right amount of sunshine.
They both sat across the table, facing each other. Oh no, Hazel thought to herself seeing the book in front of her: The fault in our stars. How could she have not read this one? It was the one in which the protagonist had the same name as her, Hazel. She threw her head back, slumping on the seat and sighing.
Resting her chin on the book, she looked intently at Kyungsoo, seeking his attention as he sat engrossed in the book he was reading. He didn't notice her one bit. He was so lost in the book. She pouted cutely at him. Even now, he didn't budge. She focused her eyes on the bridge of her nose and stuck out her tongue in an attempt to look funny. Nope, it still didn't work. Realizing that her 'Notice me Senpai' attempt had failed miserably, she got up from her chair displeased, and walked towards the books section.
Kyungsoo had been covertly noticing her all this while. He wanted to see how far she went with her funny act. He found it to be too cute and had wished for it to not end. His heart shaped lips curled into a smile thinking of her comical gestures.
Several minutes had passed and yet she had trouble choosing a book. Her fingers raked through the books examining for the one that sparked her interest. She stumbled upon one named 'Heidi' and paused briefly. The touching story of Heidi played like a movie in her mind. She could still remember how she'd cried inconsolably while reading it. This was the book with which she connected on an emotional level and it was still close to her heart. Her train of thoughts were suddenly disrupted by a deep voice that startled her.
"Nice one," said Mr. Oh, bending over as he looked at the book in her hand, adjusting his glasses that slipped down his nose.
Hazel felt nervous looking at him from up so close, his face was barely inches apart from hers. It so happens that sometimes people look handsome only from afar. But in the case of Mr.Oh, he was flawless from every angle - whether close or far, he was ethereal. His side profile exposed his perfectly chiselled jawline. She whiffed the traces of cologne that lingered in the air and lost herself in his dreamy eyes.
