"Why did you do that?" Hazel gasped in shock.
"If a man has two wings, it means that he can fly to heaven. Meaning, he's an angel and I'm not one. Actually, I'm not even a good person," he stated.
"Can you see your back Mr. Oh?"
"No," he furrowed...

Sehun stood in his apartment's balcony watching the sun sink below the horizon, casting hues of yellow and orange on the velvety sky. He lived on the seventh floor of an expensive apartment all alone. On one hand he held the cocktail of gin and grapefruit while on the other, he had his phone anticipating someone's call. The wind chime tinkled and he exasperated a sigh. Perhaps that someone was never going to call.
He walked in his hallway which was warm with the fireplace still ablaze. Pulling his chair, he seated himself on it, placing the cocktail on the dining table - its heavy dosage made him tipsy and he put his head down, sighing. He took one last glimpse of his phone and stared intently at the name 'Erica'.
He picked up his dog Vivi and it snuggled against his chest. "I guess I'm alone even today," he whispered to Vivi, his long fingers combing the dog's pure white fur. He only had this furry friend by his side for comfort, he thought.
Just then, the door bell rang making Vivi jump out of his arms and curl itself into a corner.
"Oh! Hazel! It's you!" his voice couldn't mask the happiness he felt upon seeing a girl - a beautiful one at that, standing at his door in her school uniform averting his gaze bashfully and lowering her head to the ground.
"I'm sorry to disturb you at this hour Mr. Oh," she said, timidly tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear.
"Oh not at all!" he responded. He'd never sounded more joyful before in his life.
"I'll not be coming to school tomorrow so I wanted to give this to you now," she said, handing over the assignment book.
"Come inside," he offered realizing that he was keeping her waiting at the door.
"Umm..." she pondered, "I-I actually-," she was cut off.
"Did you come alone?" he asked pretending to be concerned whilst masking his euphoric demeanour. He was more than glad to see her come alone and his imagination ran wild. He was determined to pull her inside the house for sometime no matter what.
She showed signs of hesitation to go inside his house.
Mr. Oh was about to grab her hand and pull her inside.
"No!" resounded a male voice from the other end as the elevator's silver door slid open.
His footsteps echoed through the corridor and his lips twitched into a devilish smirk.
Mr. Oh's hopes crushed into several pieces upon seeing Kai - the arrogant student whom he loathed - walk towards him spinning the bike key stylishly on a finger. His eyebrows raised into a dome shaped arch and he glared into Mr. Oh's eyes with an eerie aura.
"I too came along sir," said Kai who came and stood beside Hazel with a hand resting on the wall, his lips forming a sinister smile upon seeing Mr. Oh's face droop suddenly. Kai was no mind reader but he guessed what imaginative cloud of vulgarities might have hovered on top of the man's head upon seeing Hazel unexpectedly.
