"Why did you do that?" Hazel gasped in shock.
"If a man has two wings, it means that he can fly to heaven. Meaning, he's an angel and I'm not one. Actually, I'm not even a good person," he stated.
"Can you see your back Mr. Oh?"
"No," he furrowed...

The metal chain creaked as it swayed to and fro.
"Hazel? Second? Hell no! She's such a bimbo. There's obviously something weird."
Don't think about it, she whispered to herself.
The words echoed through her mind over and over again. No one could or had the right to judge how clever or dumb she was. Their rantings were illogical. Although she didn't have to waste time pondering over them, her mind was reluctant to let go of it.
Those people wouldn't know the constant practice of math sums that she did everyday. Or how much she wearied Mr. Sehun with the silliest of her doubts over phone calls and messages. Burning midnight lamp to study late night till the dark circles were visible under the eyes. Scurrying past students with anxiety to see the results put up on the notice board. Clearly, they knew nothing.
"Are you going to tell me?" Chanyeol asked breaking the silence, his focus unwavering from the ball rolling beneath his converse shoes.
Her grip on the cold metal tightened. Kicking the beige colored sand beneath, she swung with a greater momentum. The air whooshed past her ears, messing up the brown curls to fall over her forehead. Lifting her legs that dangled freely, she stretched them straight and threw her head backwards, gazing up at the purple blanket of evening sky with pink flurry of clouds.
"I literally ditched the basketball ball practice just cause you called and told me to come to the park," his gaze finally returned to hers.
"Thanks and sorry Yeol! You can go if you want to," she said swaying in the park's swing.
"Princess, calm down!" he scoffed and stopped the swing with both arms. "Tutions got over so fast?"
"Yeol, should I apologize to Soyeon?"
"What?" he let out a laugh and settled on the swing next to hers. "Why do you have to apologize?"
She sighed and told him that Mr. Sehun confessed about having done a strict correction to help Hazel score better.
"That wasn't your fault Hazel. You don't have to apologize to her. Besides, she should be more understanding. Being angry with you for Mr. Oh's mistake is not correct," he tried to convince. "If I were you, I would be happy for scoring good marks instead of bickering over it."
"Earlier this day, I overheard girls telling that I'm dumb and not worthy of scoring a second. I feel Mr. Oh just proved that to be true," she lowered her head.
He got up from there and pulled her up with both hands. "To be frank, I don't know what to say to make you feel better," he put an arm around her shoulder. "All I can say is that you don't have to go so hard on yourself. It's alright to be selfish for once, Hazel."
