"Why did you do that?" Hazel gasped in shock.
"If a man has two wings, it means that he can fly to heaven. Meaning, he's an angel and I'm not one. Actually, I'm not even a good person," he stated.
"Can you see your back Mr. Oh?"
"No," he furrowed...

Hazel walked in the desolate hallway. Clutching onto the straps of her bag, she climbed up the stairs. On the other end of the stairs stood Kai leaning against the wall, glancing at her. She walked past him like as though she never noticed his presence. All her attempts to reach out to him had failed. Presistently clinging onto him any longer would only make her lose self respect for she was sure that she had tried enough.
Kai remained motionless although he could have initiated a small talk. The matter would have gotten sorted if he had apologized but he didn't. He'd purposely restrained himself 'cause he felt that he deserved to be ignored. He sat balancing himself on the metallic banister and slid his way smoothly downstairs.
"Hey! Careful," she bellowed.
He threw a sharp glance at her before striding away.
"Soyeon!" Hazel's jaw dropped slack as soon as she entered. "Can you actually see me?" she asked in surprise, standing next to the green board of the classroom.
Soyeon stifled a chuckle. "Yes, now that I have my contact lenses on."
Hazel ran over to stand beside her. "Pretty girl!"
Soyeon had abandoned her geeky round glasses. Her jet black hair once knotted in braids was left open and trimmed short, just a inch above her shoulder and her face had a natural glow.
"Something's missing," Hazel said, rummaging her purse and took out a pink lip tint. "Here, use this," she said handing it over to her. "You can have it."
Soyeon hesitated but Hazel nagged her until she accepted it with a wide smile and a thankyou.
"So, what is going on?" Hazel smirked.
"Nothing," Soyeon stuttered, her eyes not training off the pocket mirror as she applied the lip tint.
"Oh come on! I'm not buying that."
"I'm planning to propose to Chanyeol very soon," Soyeon said shyly.
"That's nice..." Hazel hesitated to tell.
"But?"
"Don't feel bad but I don't know how well it's going to go because Chanyeol said he doesn't befriend girls cause they see him as a potential boyfriend," she said in a voice of concern.
Hazel's honesty did little good as it didn't go well with Soyeon. She put on a sarcastic smile and wondered if Hazel was trying to stop her from getting close to him in the midst of pretending to help.
"O-M-G," Hazel mouthed. "Is no-glasses a trend?" she whispered to Soyeon. Soyeon quickly put the pocket mirror into her backpack when she saw the homeroom teacher enter the class. She was equally surprised to see Mr. Oh look ravishing without his glasses on.
