The evening weather was cold, so grandma wore a coat and leaned on her rocking chair in the portico, knitting a scarf which she planned to wear soon. She stopped humming the tune of her favorite song when the sound of Kyungsoo's car reached her ears.

"Granny, you need to say indoors. We don't want you to catch a cold," Kyungsoo said, helping her up from the chair by offering a hand. Chanyeol greeted grandma as the three entered the house.

"Dearie, are you alright now?" asked grandma, worriedly looking at Hazel. Her hair was falling over her forehead, the bangs partially covering her face.

"She's fine granny." Chanyeol cut in. "We just had a walk in the park and even watched a movie," he lied partially. Save for the movie, they did go to a park to help Hazel get rid of worrisome thoughts.

"Ah, I see." Grandma said and Hazel flashed her a faint smile.

The trio marched up the spiral staircase of the house.

"Kyungsoo," grandma fondly called him and he rushed towards her. "Are you sure that everything's okay? I've been pacifying Bianca and Hazel's dad. But like they say, it's not right for her to be sitting at home like this. It's been almost two weeks since she's skipping classes."

"Of course granny. She did have a light cold but she's recovering soon. Everything's alright."

It wasn't what grandma wanted to know. Although grandma couldn't quite put a finger, she smelt something fishy. Grandma skeptically asked, "She isn't being bullied, is she?"

Kyungsoo shook his head, "No, not at all," he affirmed. "Chanyeol and me wouldn't let that happen. We're always with her."

"I'm trusting you on this one." Grandma said, looking at him gravely through her glasses and took his hand in hers.

"Yes," Kyungsoo giving her hand an assuring squeeze. "Please tell me that you won't worry," to which grandma slightly nodded.

"Oh! I've prepared snacks for you and Chanyeol. I'll give them before y'all leave," grandma said enthusiastically.

Kyungsoo immediately went upstairs and found Hazel lying on her bed. "Lock the door," Chanyeol ordered Kyungsoo while refilling lemon juice in the jar. "We all need to have a proper talk."

Kyungsoo switched on the light in the dark room which was followed by a groan of protest from Hazel.

"Cheer up," Kyungsoo said, settling on the bed beside her. "You're not a thief and we're not a police for you to be hiding from us." He said removing the pillow which she used to hide her face.

"Yeah it's not like the end of the world." Chanyeol replied and slumped on the bed.

"I'm so ashamed." She murmured, gazing into a far distance from her large bedroom window.
