"Why did you do that?" Hazel gasped in shock.
"If a man has two wings, it means that he can fly to heaven. Meaning, he's an angel and I'm not one. Actually, I'm not even a good person," he stated.
"Can you see your back Mr. Oh?"
"No," he furrowed...

Ugh. . .the duality, Hazel thought, doodling a picture of what seemed like her and Kai sitting on the bike just like yesterday night on the last page of her notebook. She was brooding over something other than what was being taught in class; something concerning the boy that had occupied most of her thoughts these days – Kai.
The picture of a kid blowing bubbles; the one which Kyungsoo had sketched flashed across her mind. People are not what they seem to be.They pretend to be innocent and childlike but have a black heart. Was this applicable to the duo that had helped her last night? If at all she had seen the dark side of Kai and Baekhyun first, she would have never liked them. Ever. Hazel sank her chin in her palm longingly. But her instincts told her that deep down Kai and Baekhyun were caring humans who wore a devil's mask to combat against the wicked world.
Or so she wanted to believe.
"Hazel, stand up." Mr. Oh's voice cut through the silent class. It was biology hour and Mr. Oh, who was handling the first class of the day, observed her spacing out during his lecture. "Would you like to answer the question I asked?"
With legs shaking in nervousness, Hazel found the entire class staring at her expectantly. She didn't know what the question was. Heck, his lecture was going above her head. But that didn't mean she wanted to stand idly not knowing the answer to the question posed. Like a bimbo.
And just as she was thinking, Kyungsoo came to her rescue. He meekly whispered "Bryophyllum" from behind.
"Byyophyllum," she bluntly mimicked, having no idea of what it was.
"What?" Mr. Oh quirked an eyebrow at her clearly mispronounced answer.
Chanyeol giggled from the other end making her glare at him.
"Bryo...Bryophyllum," prompted Kyungsoo, once more.
"I meant Bryophyllum."
"Sit down. Kyungsoo, don't want you prompting next time." Mr. Oh quipped.
"No sir, he hadn't," she lied, not wanting to have Kyungsoo embroiled in the mess.
Mr. Oh adjusted his glasses, "Well then miss, mind repeating the question I had asked?"
She got up from her seat slowly, yet again tight lipped, feeling foolish for having herself put on a spot. Kyungsoo sighed as she kept fidgeting with her pencil. Biting her lower lip, she glanced at Mr.Oh, hoping that he'd refrain from insulting her more in front of the entire class.
Chanyeol giggled louder.
"I'm not blind." Mocked Mr. Oh. "Pay attention or get out." He signalled her to sit with a motion of a hand and then turned to look at Chanyeol, "And you. Be prepared to join her out the next time you show your teeth."
