Another chapter request. I actually enjoyed writing this one.
I was challenged to write at least 100 words before allowing the main character to speak.

(I know I didn't use the right ages, I just went with what felt right for the story)

I wasn't planning on the story taking this kinda turn with Astrid and Oakley but it was requested by 3 of my friends so here we go guys.

Open to requests and ideas for future chapters.

It had been 2 months since Oakley had agreed to join the Dragon Riders, and she had excelled at her training. Gobber had finally finished her saddle, making flight training alot more comfortable for both her and her dragon. She had whizzed through wing formations, stealth and infliltration, and battle tactics. She even beat Heather in close combat.

Hiccup had some work to do on the Edge, leaving Astrid behind to train the new recruit. It had been a month since he had left and Oakley had made some amazing progress. She couldn't wait for her brother to return, so she could show him all Astrid had taught her. It was up to him to decide if she was ready to join them on the Edge.

Oakley and Astrid had bonded alot over the last 2 months. The two were almost always together. Oakley had spent most nights at Astrids hut, while her mother was away as she just couldn't bring herself to go home yet. Although, she spent some nights studying in the great hall till morning. Within those two months, the two young viking women had shared alot of secrets. They now knew almost everything about eachother, and they understood what they could talk about and what was best left alone. They were almost inseperable.

Oakley ran to the academy, after seeing Toothless make his way to the island. Astrid wasn't far behind. Hiccup barely had time to dismount the night fury before his sisters arms wrapped around him, he hesitated before returning the hug. He still wasn't used to it, but he loved his sister.

Oakley refused to let go for a minute. Hiccup looked at Astrid questioningly.

Astrid shrugged. 'She's really excited.' She giggled.

'I can see that.' Hiccup responded, as his sister finally let him go. 'I wasn't expecting to get a T-mail to come back so soon.' He added.

Oakley chuckled and headed over to her dragon with a smile on her face.

'Well, she's definitely a fast learner.' The young blonde stated. 'I barely had to train her, I told her what to do and she did it, perfectly, almost everytime. She's a natural.'

'You can say that again.' Everybody looked towards the gate as Heather walked in. Her wrist wrapped in bandages, and a small bruise starting to form on her lower right lip.

'Woah, Heather. What happened?!' He asked with concern. 'Are you okay?' He added placing a hand on her shoulder.

'I'm fine, Hiccup.' She reaasured him, taking his hand off her shoulder. 'Close combat training took an unexpected turn, your sister is alot stronger than you ever were. I won't underestimate her next time.' she giggled.

Hiccup gave his sister a puzzled look and received a guilty, apologetic one in return.

'You think she looks defeated, just wait until you see Snotlout.' Astrid giggled. She had loved watching Snotlout push her buttons.

'What did you do to Snotlout?' He asked his little sister as she continued to pet StarGazer.

'I just taught him some manners.' She explained before giving Astrid a slight smirk. Hiccup looked at her, waiting for her to explain in more detail.
She sighed. 'He was all over me... and he wouldn't stop, he kept insisting on calling me his future wife...So I hit him... In the face... with a hammer... twice.'
