He stared at the stars that were scattered all around the sky illuminating what would have been a much darker night into a bright one.

The amount of stars in the sky just proved to be how wonderful the next day was going to be, for the rest of the world anyways. It's like the universe is mocking him, something that doesn't happen often.

The metal of the car nipped at his and the fact that it is chilly out isn't helping. But going back in would mean that he'll have to offer motivational speeches to the people inside and he isn't feeling up to that yet. That could wait till tomorrow when they'll be facing the real deal.

Somehow Jayden's parents along with Sam's parents, where able to convince the other parents not to involve the police yet. They all got back from Italy sometime in the afternoon and since they'll be meeting up early the next morning, they didn't see the need to go back home although they did call to tell their parents that they were back in town.

In other words, Jayden's house is currently housing about ten teenagers but with the size of his house, it wasn't much of a problem.
It would have been nine Jayden inclusive, if Trent had not come along.

Don and the gang were spending the night in a hotel which he had booked earlier because apparently, motels were a lot more suspicious than hotels.

The crew is fairly ready and although Jayden has a lot of faith in them, he still knows that his dad is a sneaky double-crossing bastard who'll use whatever means he deems fit to destroy them.

Jayden knows it is no use wishing he'd not be prepared because if there is one thing he hates most about his father, it's the fact that they both think alike. So naturally it's expected of his father to be prepared for him knowing Jayden won't be coming alone.

Oddly enough, Jayden didn't feel too nervous about tomorrow. Infact, he felt giddy knowing he'll be seeing Sam tomorrow. It's only been one week and he already misses her like crazy.

This alone has been Jayden's motivation since the kidnapping. That's why Jayden promises himself that no matter what goes down, Sam is going to make it out of there alive.

He is about to go over the plan in his head once again but a presence beside him breaks his focus.

"Hey son, how are you holding up" Brandon asked lying down right beside Jayden on the cars cold hood.

Jayden shrugged in response not really having an answer to his question. On one hand he could have said he was excited for tomorrow, on the other hand he could just tell him how much he was dreading tomorrow, both of which were true to an extent.

But since Jayden isn't in the mood to talk, he sticks with the shrug which earns him a sigh and an eye roll from Brandon.

"Don't stress yourself out too much ok, everything will go as planned and if it doesn't, your mum and I will handle the rest" Brandon assured Jayden although he just seems to have successfully confused him more.

"Handle the rest?, what do you mean" Jayden asked in confusion.

"Oh my God, just ignore me I've said too much" Brandon replied looking anywhere but at Jayden.

Jayden narrows his eyes in suspicion but decides to let it slide, whatever it is he meant cannot really be that important.

"I think you should go to bed Jayden. From what I can tell, you have a long day ahead of you" Brandon suggests not removing his gaze from the sky, but you can't blame him, the sky is on a whole new level of enchanting today.

Jayden takes his advice and slides down the hood of the car walking in the direction of his house, his room to be specific.

When I he sees that his stepfather isn't making any effort to come along with him, he stops and asks.
