The cold nipped at my skin through my open window reminding me of various reasons why the window shouldn't be open in the first place.

It's winter which means any normal human being would've been enclosed in thick clothes over a hot cup of chocolate watching TV or doing any random thing that doesn't involve going out in the cold.

But again, we've come far enough for you to realize that I'm not completely normal.

We officially finished our exams about Monday last week and closed for Christmas break on Friday of the same week.

Logan has really bonded with our group and it turns out he's not really that bad of a guy although I can't help not fully trusting him.

One time, we all went over to his house to revise for our exams but ended up running around and shooting each other with water guns, it didn't take long for us to begin freezing our butts off since winter was already making its peaks.

After drying ourselves, we sat down in front of the fire desperately praying to whichever god cared to listen that we didn't fall sick. Luckily, none of us had any exam the next day so we didn't have to worry about failing.

The buzzing of my phone pulled me out of my thoughts and I looked over to see that I had infact received a message.

I opened the message and saw that it was from Jayden and I couldn't stop the flutter of my heart at the sight of his name.

The message read that I should meet him and the gang at the mall tomorrow so we could shop for Christmas presents.

Louis had travelled with his parents to his home town but they would be back before New years Eve since Louis informed them that he was spending it with us.

Cole had also gone to visit his grandparents and although they lived in New York, it was still quite far from where we were staying. He too is supposed be back before New years Eve.

You wouldn't believe what kind of lazy ass teenagers we were but us shopping on thanksgiving for Christmas should really give that away.

Yes tomorrow is thanksgiving and that's when we are planning to do our Christmas shopping but in our defense, we agreed to give each other gifts on New years Eve since all of us will be present as at then.

The cold was beginning to get to me so I shut my window and turned on my heater changing into comfy thick layered clothes.

I crawled under my thick duvets and went to sleep a smile on my face.

~~~~~~~~
My duvets being pulled off me brought me out of my unconscious state as I shrieked both from the sudden cold and the unwelcomed disturbance.
I blinked my eyes a few times to adjust to the light before turning to glare at the intruder rage boiling in the pit of my stomach.
I was about to lash out at them when my eyes caught sight of familiar green ones and just like that my words got stuck in my mouth.
My mouth was opening and closing and when I realized that I wasn't saying anything, I settled for just pouting at him.
Jayden who had been laughing at my misery finally got his laugh under control flashing me a sweet smile which I rolled my eyes at although I was secretly happy inside. The stampeding elephants in my stomach will point that out.
"Get up Aurora, we gotta go to the mall remember" Jayden asked smiling at me. His smile soon morphed into a smirk as his eyes scanned what I was wearing.
My cheeks coloured a deep crimson when I realized that I was in my onesie, yes I have a onesie but only because it's really fluffy, comfy and mostly perfect to sleep in during winter.
