Jayden's POV

"Daisy's been kidnapped."

Those words sounded unreal to me, I willed myself not to believe them.

"Your kidding me right, this is all some incredibly sick joke you guys thought of, if that's the case then I'll let you know that it's not even remotely funny," I yelled shaking Blake's shoulders continuously in an attempt to get him to tell me the truth.

"I'm not joking Jayden, she was declared missing the night after you and Sam left for Italy," Blake replied his voice strained.

As though a button in me had just been reset, I stopped shaking him and looked at him in a different light. Hell, I was looking at all of them in a different light.

"I need to go home," I said grimly making sure to keep my face void of any emotion.

"Jayden are you sure, you shouldn't be....." Sam was saying but I cut her off.

"I need to go home," I said again making sure to lace my anger and impatience in my tone.

Blake nodded silently before turning around and walking to his black car parked beside the school's statue of it's logo.

I followed behind wordlessly ignoring Sam who was also on my tail.

"Jayden, I don't think you should be alone now. I can come over to keep you company and we could think of something," Sam said her voice pleading.

As tempting as that offer was, I knew I had to be alone in order to recollect my thoughts. "I want to be alone Samantha," I ordered in harsh voice and my heart softened a little at the sight of Sam visibly shrinking from my tone.

She nodded in understanding and gave me a sad smile before retreating. I'm really grateful to have met someone like her, she always manages to understand me no matter how much of an asshole I tend to be.

I got into the passengers seat of Blake's car and stared out the window as he put the car in reverse and pulled it out of the parking lot.

The drive back to my house was silent, something I was grateful for. Blake understands that I need time to come to terms with all of this. After all, it's not in every life time you happen to loose two sisters. Just the thought of it made me want to puke but I saved that for later.

Right now, I need to focus on getting Daisy back, or at least figuring out where she is although I have a pretty good idea where that is.

Blake pulled up in front of my house and I got out his car prepared to stalk away but stopped at the sound of his voice.

"Jayden, just in case you need somebody, remember that I'm always here for you ok," Blake said before driving off.

Just as I was about to ring the bell, I realized that I'm probably in a lot of trouble with my parents. Even though I had told them I was staying at Cole's, I wouldn't doubt the fact that they've tried to reach me through them. If that's the case then I'm totally screwed.

I spoke the password into the intercom and waited for it to open before making my way inside.

I carefully opened the front door and stepped in not at all surprised to see my parents seated on one of the double couches in the living room.

I greeted them and tried to make my way past their solemn expressions but like expected, I didn't make it that far.

Mom who had called me had an expression of stress and conflict on her beautiful face making her appear older than she had been a few days ago.
