Jayden feels a little creeped out when he notices that the house is quiet, too quiet to result in anything good.
Tossing his negativities aside, he rang the doorbell on the side of the white door. When there is no reply, he twists the door handle only to find out that the house isn't locked.
He scans the inside of the house with half his body and when he realizes there's no one in, he signals for the group to join him.
"What is it, why did you call us?" Louis questions looking panicked.
"The house, it's empty" I inform them peering inside once again to confirm theory.
'Now all we need to do is get in, distract Roderick and then call for backup when we're up against his men' Jayden tells himself even though he knows it isn't going to be as easy as that.
"You know that just spells trap right" Trent the oh so logical one states like Jayden wasn't already aware that fact.
"I know but can't you see, there's no time to be rational" Jayden responds running his hands through his hair in frustration.
"We'll just be falling right into Roderick's trap" Trent continues although he could see that he was annoying Jayden with his logic.
"I'm willing to take that risk if it means we will be getting Sam out of quicker" Jayden replies his mind already made up. The crew can see that there is nothing that will change Jayden's mind, except....
"How about we outsmart him at his own game" Cole suggests seeming very deep in his own thoughts.
"What do you mean" Jody questions snapping her fingers in front of Cole's face finally getting him to look at them.
"I'm suggesting we split up. Roderick will be expecting us to come together whether we're walking into his trap, or avoiding it which either way is a still trap. If we split up into groups, we can cover more perimeters and if we're lucky, one of the groups won't encounter Roderick or his goons" Cole finishes looking to see our reactions.
"Well colour me hideous, he finally said something smart" Alisa teased a now red faced Cole.
"I have two things to say to you Alisa. One, colour me hideous, really. Two, now is not the time to tease your boyfriend" Louis reprimands although there is a devious smirk on his face.
Both Alisa and Cole start spluttering while desperately trying to deny Louis's claims which just made it all the more obvious, if you get what I mean.
"You little devil" Blake teases putting Louis in a choke hold so he could ruffle his hair.
"How cute, so who's the couple now" Alisa questions transforming Louis and Blake into two living tomatoes.
"Oh how I love karma" Raven randomly puts in while pretending to check her nails nonchalantly.
"Oh shut up, you and Mason are the only real couples here so........" Louis trails off lamely.
Raven shoots him an unimpressed look before replying, "that's why we should be the only ones going all mushy on each other. If I have to see one of you spineless idiots flirting again, I'm going to puke not kidding"
Now four of them were living tomatoes and as much as Jayden and Trent were enjoying the show, they had to step in.
"Guys, quit bickering, we don't have time remember" Trent says tapping his empty wrist in illustration.
"Well now that's over, let's divide ourselves into groups. We'll be going in pairs since we're only nine" Jayden informs them.
"Why isn't Logan with us again" Mason questions going to stand beside Raven despite Jayden's look of disapproval.
