Sam's POV
It's been a week since Jayden told me about his secret, and ever since then, we've become frighteningly close.
We're always talking about how we'll take his father-Rodriguez down. Our friends have been really suspicious and I don't blame them. Just a week ago I and Jayden weren't that much of friends, we were what you'd call acquaintances. But now we were like best friends because we literally don't leave each others sight.
I've told Jayden to consider telling them but he keeps saying that he isn't willing to risk it.
Even though his heart is in the right place, he can still be blind and stubborn ass sometimes.
All through the one and half months I've been here, I've been able to study our friends and I know it won't take long for them to find out. Jayden still doesn't understand the fact that friends are willing to take risks for each other.
I'm certain that if he told our friends, we'll come up with a brilliant plan to take Rodriguez down. Even though I like the feeling of being the only one to know Jayden's secret, I'll still admit that I and Jayden can't do this alone and even if we could, time wouldn't be on our side and we'll be faced with a whole more of risks than we are now.

"Seriously what are you guys always talking about, it's really starting to piss me off here" Alisa said and I looked up to see her harsh glare directed at Jayden and I.
"Yah guys, we're all friends I thought we shouldn't be keeping secrets from each other" Cole added and even though he wasn't as harsh as Alisa, I could tell he was just as pissed.
I looked at Jayden for help but he had his head down. 'Coward' I sighed mentally, he's leaving me to deal with the wrath of our friends when he's the cause of it in the first place.
"Look guys it's not what you think, Jayden and I are just bonding over ehh ice cream, yeah we both love ice cream and we love to talk about it all the time" I exclaimed my voice a notch higher from the embarrassingly lame excuse I just gave.
I looked at my friends to see all of them looking at me like I had sprouted a second arm though I'd prefer it if the only reason they were looking at me was because I actually sprouted a second arm.
I heard snickering from beside me and looked in shock at Jayden's vibrating body which was barely able to contain his laughter. I can't believe the douche is actually laughing at me when I'm trying to save his unworthy ass here.
Ok I admit that my grandma can probably make better excuses than me but still, it doesn't give him the right to guffaw like a freaking hyena on crack.
I narrowed my eyes at him and hoisted his head that was resting on the table up by his collar. He was desperately trying to cover up his laughs but also desperately failing at it too.
"You think this is funny Ryder" I asked angrily tightening my grip on his collar. I had gotten into the habit of calling Jayden Ryder when we were alone.
"Calm down love, no need to get feisty" he said pulling my hand off his shirt and straightening it out.
"Ehm Jayden did Sam just call you Ryder" Blake asked giving us a very suspicious look.
"No, no, no man, you heard it all wrong" Jayden denied his cheeks tinged slightly pink probably from the intensity of Blake's cold blue eyes.
"Uhh I'm pretty sure she called you Ryder" Louis who was sitting beside Blake countered causing Jayden to glare harshly at him. He yelped and scooted further into Blake's sides.
"I can't believe you Jayden, I've been waiting for almost two years for you to finally tell me what was wrong with you and you didn't, and now she comes along you tell her. We've been best friends since elementary school and you still don't trust me enough to tell your little secret to but you've barely know her for two months and you spill your guts out to her"
