Jayden's POV'What have I done' I thought looking at the passed out form in my arms.
There is no way the school's infirmary will be open at this time, most of the students and teachers are gone since we closed for the day about two hours ago.My brain was having a hard time processing all that had happened in the past five minutes and it took an extra five minutes before my brain dead self was able to process the fact that I couldn't stare at Sam all day and I needed to get help fast.
I quickly dialed my mom's number, telling her what just happened as I scooped Sam in my arms carrying her bridal style out of the building and making sure she doesn't fall die to how fast I was walking and of course the nerves threatening to tear my whole being apart.
I can't still find a reasonable theory as to why she fainted. It doesn't make sense, all I did was grip her arm and I admit way tighter than I should've but that alone can't cause someone to faint can it?
Immediately the parking lot came into view with my parents and friends pacing about with frantic looks on their faces, I yelled at them to get the door of my parents car open since I didn't have my car with me.
Though panicking, they were able to get the car door open before I made it there and so I carefully placed Sam in the backseat and entered in after making sure she was somewhat comfortable.
I watched in frustration as my step dad put the key in the ignition and revered the car out of the parking lot with Mason and Blake's cars hot on our tail. I guess they had decided to come in just two cars so as to make the journey to the hospital less of a burden.
I kept tapping my foot on the cars foot mat impatiently as I waited anxiously for us to get to the hospital. I checked on Sam every minute of our way there making sure she was comfortable even though she unconscious probably couldn't feel a thing.
Immediately the hospital building was in sight, I secured Sam in my arms and rushed out of the car even though Brandon had barely finished parking.
Once at the entrance of the hospital, a nurse spotted me the currently unconscious girl in my arms and a stretcher was immediately brought in my direction.
I carefully placed Sam on the mobile hospital bed and tried to keep up with them as they rolled her to emergency unit.
When we got to a certain area, the nurses stopped me from coming any further, instructing me to wait 'patiently' on the visitors chair.
I sat down there with my head in my hands, raising it up when I heard footsteps approaching me. My parents and friends where making their way to where I was currently sitting.
"Hey man, is she alright" Cole asked sitting beside me and placing a comforting hand on my shoulder.
"I honestly don't know" I replied rubbing my forehead in an attempt to rid the headache I was currently spotting.
"What happened Jayden, how how did it happen" Jody asked her voice quavering slightly.
"I can't really say, one minute she's yelling at me and the other she's pleading with me to loosen the grip I had on her arm and then next thing she's passed out in my arm" I replied guilt pooling in the pit of my stomach.
She had asked me to let go of her, if I wasn't blinded by my rage back then and had let go of her like she asked me to, maybe she wouldn't have to be in the hospital because of me.
"What happens between you two back there" Mason asked narrowing his eyes. He's is always so defensive of Sam I sometimes wonder if he has a crush on her. But then I look at the kind of guy he is and realize he's nothing like me, he just cares a lot about the people who are close to him.
