Your pov:
It was the end of our summer, I was packing my things with Draco so I could join Harry on his journey. Mom gave me an enchanted bag that never ends so I can pack whatever I pleased inside. "Are you ready?" Draco asked and I nodded. We walked downstairs where our parents were waiting to say goodbye, my parents embraced me with Ollie as Draco's parents did the same to him. "This is the best thing that could happen," Dad smiled. "If I knew that's what the prophecy meant then I wouldn't have stopped you." "Be safe, honey, make sure to write," Mom insisted. "This is gonna be great, sis," Ollie smiled. "Remember, if you need any help, sing our song," Dad said. "Thank you, daddy," I smiled lightly. He hugged me again then spoke, "I'll miss you, we'll keep the Malfoys safe."
"I know you will, I'll be home before you know it," I assured, pulling away. Draco and I locked hands then walked out, I looked at the address then spoke, "Number 4 privet drive? How boring." I concentrated then teleported to an ordinary street, at that moment more people from the Order of the Phoenix appeared. We shared a look then went up to the door and knocked, it took a moment, but Harry opened the door. "Hey!" he beamed, seeing Hermione and Ron. They rushed in and gave him a hug, Hagrid and Sirius did as well and I stepped inside. "Smells like lemon in here," I grimaced, looking around. "This is where you lived? I pictured something more grand." "Well, not everyone could have a castle in hell," Ron huffed. "How unfortunate," I shrugged, going to the living room with the others. More people walked in and Lupin spoke, "I see you embracing your destiny."
I turned to him and spoke, "Don't be too proud of me, Professor, I'm only here because Harry gave me his soul." "Doesn't matter, you could have easily said no," Lupin said. "Besides, you are still helping." "You have too much faith in me," I sighed. "Perhaps you have too little in yourself," Lupin replied. I let out a light laugh and spoke, "I knew I missed you." Remus smiled and gave me a tight hug before pulling away and spoke, "This is Tonks, my wife." "Lovely to meet you," she smiled, shaking my hand and I smiled. "All right, all right! You'll all have time for a cozy catch-up later! We've got to get the hell out of here and soon!" Moody interrupted, standing in front of the crowd. "Potter, you're underage, which means you've still got the Trace on you."
"The trace?" Harry questioned. "You sneeze and the Ministry will know who wipes your nose. Point is, we have to use those means of transport the Trace can't detect: brooms, thestrals, and the like. We'll go in pairs," Sirius explained. "That way if anyone's out there waiting for us -- and I reckon there will be -- they won't know which Harry Potter is the real one." "The real one?" Harry repeated, confused. Moody took out his flask then spoke, "I believe you're familiar with this particular brew." "No, absolutely not," Harry refused. "Potter, all of us here are of age," I huffed. "They're willing to help and you can't stop them so I suggest you agree. You don't have much choice anyway." "I see she's still a peach," Sirius detected. "As we discussed, Morningstar." I plucked a hair from Harry's head and he winced, "Ow! Blimey, Y/n!"
I smirked, placing the hair in the flask as Moody spoke, "Everyone here's of age, Potter, and they've all agreed to take the risk." "Technically, I've been coerced," A small man said. "Mundungus Fletcher, Mr. Potter. I've always been a huge admirer." "Nip it, Mundungus!" Moody interjected causing him to stand down. He gave me the flask then spoke, "For those of you who haven't taken Polyjuice Potion before, fair warning... it tastes like goblin piss." "Have a lot of experience with that, do you, Mad-Eye?" Fred said, causing Moody to give him a look. "Just trying to defuse the tension." I took a deep breath then took a sip before handing it down the line which was Fred, George, Mundungus, Ron, then Hermione. It happened slowly, but we all turned into Potter. "Wow, we're identical," The twins beamed.
"This is strange," I huffed, taking off my boots already. "Now I'm a saint." Moody unloaded a bag of clothes and we all changed into the same outfit. "Draco, look away," I insisted, taking off my shirt. Draco just turned as I changed then finished, putting on the glasses. "Okay, how do I look?" I questioned and Draco turned back. "Like Potter," Draco answered. "Well, not everyone can look like you, handsome," I smirked. "I don't know how to react to that," Draco joked, making me giggle lightly. "Right then. We'll be pairing off," Moody informed. "Each Potter will have a protector. As for you, Harry-" "Yes?" Everyone said. "The real Harry," Moody corrected. "Where the devil are you, anyway?" "Right here," he said. "Right, you'll be riding with Hagrid and Sirius. Draco and Y/n will be by your side to throw them off."
"And, to help is to keep you safe," I mentioned. "Think of this as part of the deal." Harry nodded then Moody spoke, "Let's go!" Draco grabbed my bag and I took his hand, he looked at me then spoke, "Okay, come on." I smirked and we walked out together, Harry got in the car of Hagrid's bike as Sirius got on Buckbeak who he's been taking care of. Draco got on the firebolt Harry was letting us borrow, I got on the back and wrapped my arms around his torso, and laid my head on his shoulder. Sirius shouted, "Good luck, everyone. On the count of three. One... two... three!" We all flew off into the sky, right when we did so, death eaters started dropping in, causing all of us to separate. "No!" I snapped. A screech was heard when a snowy owl started attacking a death eater that was trying to strike us. I raised my hand and blasted them down, Harry looked at me as the bird flew away and spoke, "You just saved my bird!"
"Well, technically he's our bird," I replied. "Switch off!" Sirius ordered. "Y/n, come with me! Harry, go with Malfoy! It's the safest bet!" I stood on the broom and jumped onto Buckbeak before Harry jumped onto the broom. I reached out and grabbed Draco's hand and said, "Be safe, I love you!" Draco smiled and returned, "I love you too, Y/n. Now go!" We flew off our separate ways, we were good for two seconds when death eaters started swarming around us. "Lower your head!" I told. Sirius did so and I got up and spoke, "Riddle wants to play games, fine. He knows I'll win!" I started shooting each of them down one by one, hitting them off and blocking their spells until one hit Sirius causing him to fall off the creature. "Sirius!" I called. I jumped off of Buckbeak and went after him, I grabbed his arm then concentrated and used my magic to teleport us to the real Harry who was already at the Burrow with the others.
We landed with a crash, I got up and looked at myself in a near puddle to see myself as myself again. "Y/n!" Draco called. I stood but heard someone come after me. I turned to see a death eater rush after me quickly with some golden blade in his hand. He went after me, but I dodged it quickly before he turned and sliced my side causing me to scream out in pain. I grabbed his hand and burned him causing him to drop the blade then I waved my hand causing his neck to snap. Draco caught me before I hit the ground, then picked me up bridal style then took me inside the house where Remus was waiting outside. "What happened?" Remus questioned. "A death eater landed, he attacked her with some blade," Draco answered. "Well, at least we know she's real," Remus said, taking me from Draco. "Easy, little one."
He placed me down on one couch and spoke, "This is gonna hurt." Remus used his magic to heal me causing me to wince again before the wound fully healed. "You'll be alright," Remus assured. I stood up and Draco hugged me tightly as everyone arrived, George was brought in with Remus, his whole ear was cut off. "Y/n, can you help him?" Remus questioned. "I know you can." I sighed then kneeled next to him and spoke, "This is gonna be a bitch." "What-" I cut him off with the wave of my hand which caused him to groan in pain as his ear returned. "Told you," I replied, getting up. "We've been betrayed. Voldemort knew everything, about being moved, the imposters, even you selling your soul to Y/n. There were doubles of her too pretending the polyjuice already wore off," Remus explained.
"How could he have found out?" I huffed. "So much for secrecy." "Mad-Eye's dead," Bill Weasley interjected, causing everyone to look at him. "Mundungus took one look at Voldemort and Disapparated." "Of course he did, that part," I huffed. "Would you know? If they go down there, I mean," Harry questioned. "Yes, I would," I replied. "Don't worry, everyone who fights with you has a place in the sky. Except for you, that is, but that's beside the point." "Right," Harry sighed. "We all better eat and get some sleep. The war has just barely begun."
