A few weeks later, the only interesting thing is a few kids being petrified and Harry speaking some snake language. Not that interesting, Riddle is slacking and something needs to happen. But not now, right now I was on the train going home for Christmas. Yes, we still celebrate Christmas for the gifts, food, and family. It was snowing a bit, I looked to see no one outside my compartment and opened my window and stuck my hand out slightly getting a snowflake and sat down after closing my window. "How cold are you?" I asked softly, seeing it melt in my hands. "Hi," Meg said walking in. I quickly whipped my hands and quickly backed away. "I'm not gonna hurt you, I just... wanted to save you," Meg reasoned, going to sit down near me.

The hounds appeared again and stood in front of her, growling. She looked at them and sighed, "I just wanted to say I'm sorry, I never meant to hurt you. I promise, your secret is safe with me if you keep mine." "Is that a bargain?" I questioned. "No, it's the truth," She replied. "Merry Christmas." She left then the hounds retreated, why was she so keen on being on good terms. I shook it off then the train stopped, I grabbed my bags and stepped out immediately getting hugged by my mother. "Oh, thank hellfire you're okay," Mom said, pulling away. "Let me see." She looked at my arms and frowned, "A bit red, but you're okay. Honey, what are you going to do?" "I can't do anything," Father huffed. "If he finds out I hurt one of his people then he'll do worse." "You, get the bags," My mom hissed at the driver.

He did so and followed us as we walked to the car. "Well, you need to tell him what she did to our daughter," Mom insisted. "She could have-" "I know," Father cut off then looked at me. He stopped walking and kneeled down to my level holding my arms. "I'm sorry for getting angry, but you have to understand the type of... heavenly power they hold." "She said she didn't mean to hurt me," I replied. "Told me that she wanted to save me from the bludger that was going to hit me." "You believe her?" Dad asked. "If she wanted to kill me, she would have," I answered. "Sorry that you had to feel pain," father frowned. "Come on, I have a special Christmas for us." I smiled then we went to the car and drove home. When I walked in, I went to the living room where Ollie was. "Ollie!" I beamed running up to him.

He picked me up in a hug and spoke, "I had to come home this one, I heard what happened." "I'm fine," I assured him as he set me down. "Good," Ollie smiled. "There is something else we need to discuss, the Chamber of Secret." "It's Riddle," I told. "He's opened it, I just don't know how." "When you go back, make sure you find out," Ollie insisted and I nodded. "Y/n, please go upstairs, we need to discuss something," Father said. "Yes, daddy," I replied then went upstairs. I unpacked my things and went to get something when I noticed the door to my father's study was opened. Seeing that he was in a family discussion, I went in to look through his drawers out of curiosity. Nothing interesting, just contracts and such. The thing that caught my eye wasn't in the drawers or on the desk, it was in the trash.

I went to it and took out a letter, it had a silver wax seal on it written in elegant handwriting. I opened it and read:

Lucifer Morningstar,

Your daughter will be starting Ilvermorny soon, she reminds me of you in a way you probably will never see. She's resilient and very brilliant, hopefully she'll be as great as her family. Though you seem to have gotten to her, she's different and much more powerful. She will definitely be a big part of our history.

I smiled, why would father want to throw this away? I heard the others and rushed to my room, stashing the letter away. I pretended to be combing my hair as my mother walked in. "Hey, heading to bed?" Mom questioned. "Yeah, I'm pretty tired," I replied. She hummed then walked up to me caressing my head and spoke, "I promise, that girl won't hurt you again." I looked at her and spoke, "I know, mom." "Get to bed, we have a very Merry Christmas planned."
