3rd person pov:
*many years later*
"What are you doing?" Scorpius Malfoy questioned his sister, Anastasia Malfoy. She was in the living room of their house, she held onto her dress while she moved gracefully around the room. "I'm dancing," She answered, spinning slowly. "Why?" Scorpius asked. "It's fun, Scorpius," Anastasia smiled. "Mom said she's gonna take us to see the Underworld later." "You aren't nervous?" Scorpius replied, sitting at the piano and pressed a few keys to check if it's in tune. "No, dad said it's not that scary when you get used to it," Anastasia reasoned. "Dad was only a wizard when he first saw it." "Yes, I remember the story," Scorpius said. "Can you play with me? I want to make sure I got the song right." "Sure, little brother," Anastasia agreed. "I'm only a year younger," Scorpius huffed.
"Still little," She replied. Scorpius shook his head lightly before he started playing causing little music notes to come out of the piano. "Dancing bears, painted wings. Things I almost remember and a song someone sings once upon a December," Anastasia sings. "Someone holds me safe and warm. Horses prance through a silver storm. Figures dancing gracefully across my memory." Y/n walked around the corner and leaned against the doorway seeing her children. Anastasia was dancing around with elegance while Scorpius played and laughed lightly at his sister. Draco saw what was going on and Y/n told him to keep quiet. "Someone holds me safe and warm. Horses prance through a silver storm. Figures dancing gracefully across my memory," Anastasia smiled. "Far away, long ago, glowing dim as an ember. Things my heart used to know, things it yearns to remember!..."
Scorpius slowed his playing as his sister leaned against the piano and finished, "And a song someone sings... Once upon a December!" Scorpius finished his music notes then their parents applauded as they walked in. "Getting better at that every time," Draco smiled. Their children got up and did a playful blow making them laugh before Y/n spoke, "It's time, are you two ready?" The kids shared a look before nodding, Draco took Scorpius' hand as Y/n took Anastasia's and they went to the dark door in the far end of the house. Y/n opened it to reveal their castle in the Underworld and they walked through to the balcony to show them their kingdom. "Woah!" Scorpius beamed, trying to look over to get a better look. Draco picked him up so he could see everything and he spoke, "What do you think, Scorp?"
"It's awesome!" He beamed. "We can rule this one day." "One day," Y/n smiled. "Anastasia... Anastasia?" She looked to see her daughter looking over everything a bit concerned. Y/n kneeled down and spoke, "What is it?" "It's a bit much," Anastasia mentioned. "I know it can be," Y/n admitted, holding her hands. "Your aunt was the same, she didn't want to look over all this and call it her own. So, she moved to the sky which made your grandparents mad... but I'm not them. Neither is your father, what you choose to do, between soul hunter, queen in training, or wanting a place in the sky, we'll be here for you. I'm gonna make sure you feel like you belong, okay?" Anastasia looked at me and smiled before nodding, going to the edge with her father and brother.
Later on, they all went to the field in the back of their house to have a picnic. Scorpius was a head more, sitting on the grass trying to figure out the new instrument he had which was a Ukulele. Soon, he got the hang of it a bit once he finally tuned it. "Room for one more?" Y/n asked, sitting with him. "Mummy, do you think I'll be king one day? Or will Anastasia be queen?" Scorpius questioned. "I think that destiny is a tricky thing to understand, especially when we decide which course so who knows. Whatever you choose to be, choose for yourself," Y/n smiled, caressing his cheek lightly before kissing his forehead softly. "I've been working on something," Scorpius said, playing the small trinket. "You want to hear it?"
"Of course," Y/n smiled. Scorpius looked down at the Ukulele and plucked the strings and sang, "I don't need you to respect me, I respect me... I don't need you to love me, I love me... but I want you to know you can know me if you change your mind... if you change your mind... change your mind~..." Y/n smiled before leaning on her hand as she watched her son play his instrument, happy that she became something more than she was. For herself and for her family.
