"I just don't understand why we have to be here?" I huffed as we moved into our new home. There was nothing wrong with it, of course, there wasn't. It was a full-on mansion with access to the underworld, who wouldn't want all of this. It was where it was located that was a bit iffy to me. "I mean, I could just watch Riddle on my sphere," I argued with my father. "It can't tell you everything, sweetheart," Dad told her. "We need to keep a close eye on him, his return causes death and death means more souls for us. Ollie will be back from his trip next week so he can help you get to platform 9 ¾. Your acceptance letter is here." Father took it out of his pocket and handed it to me. "Hogwarts?" I scoffed. "Ilvermorny is a better name."

"I know, but this is big for us," Father insisted. "Fine, I'll deal with the new school," I sighed. "That's my little girl," Dad smiled petting my head. "Speaking of which, honey, we need to get your things," Mother smiled walking in. "We're going to the shops today to get your things, so go get ready." I nodded then went up to my room and got ready, then a maid did my hair in a half up half down style. She finished up and tugged on my hair by accident. "I'm so sorry," She panicked a bit. I lifted my hand silencing her, she held her hands to her side and looked down as I got up. "A demon can't feel pain," I assured her, causing her to look up slightly. "But remember who controls who." She nodded quickly and left as my mother walked in and she spoke, "Did she bother you?"

"No, just needed to be reminded like the others," I said. "Well, remember, you're a Morningstar, we're royalty," Mom smiled, fixing her choker that she kept her soul spheres on. "You look so lovely, darling. Come, we'll be off now." "Yes, Mother," I replied. We walked downstairs to my father in the living room. He turned to us then spoke, "Change of plans a bit, a certain item has appeared in my shop. We need to go collect it before we go shopping. That's alright, right, darling?" "Of course, daddy," I smiled lightly. He took both our hands and we magically appeared behind a dark shop. "Sweetie, warn me before you teleport us," Mom sighed a bit. "You know my hair gets messed up." "Sorry, honey," Dad apologized.

"Go in without me, it's gonna take a moment to fix," Mom insisted. Dad opened the back door letting me in first, the shop was filled with all these cool items from crowns to magical hands. We walked to the front where a man was with his son who was about my age, both platinum blonde hair. It was a bit blinding in the light, then again everything is. "Ah, making a sale," father smiled walking up to the counter. "Good, but I suggest giving them full price." A gallion appeared in my father's hand, the keeper must have tried to take it back. "M-Mr. Morningstar," He stammered. "How unexpected." "Good day, Borgin," Father smirked. "I caught word that a certain item is in the store and I just care to collect it."

"I know what you're talking about, just allow me to finish up with the Malfoys," Borgin replied. Father looked at the Malfoys and spoke, "Let me guess, Lucius, correct?" "Indeed," Mr. Malfoy replied. "And who are you?" "Lucifer Morningstar," Father answered. "Also known as the Devil himself." Lucius looked taken back then my father motioned Borgin to go off and he did so. "I own this shop, along with every other collecting goods in Knockturn Alley," My father explained as I inspected the kid my age. "I heard of you, between you and me... you're one of his followers, yes?" Lucius hesitated then nodded making my father smirk lightly. "Where are my manners? This little flame here is my daughter, Y/n Morningstar," Father introduced. I smiled at them then Lucius spoke, "This is my son, Draco." "Draco?" I questioned. "Fascinating name."
