It was after Christmas, I was in a DA meeting where Harry was teaching us how to cast a Patronus. "Make it a powerful memory," Harry told, walking around. "The happiest you can remember, the happier the better." I kept getting sparks and beams, but no Patronus. I huffed and kept trying as everyone seemed to have gotten it, eventually, Harry went up to me. "Need help?" Harry questioned. "What do you think?" I spat as I kept trying. "Well, for one, your wand is getting in the way," Harry said. "No one's watching, you can put it away." I gave him a look and put it way before saying, "Now what?" "What memory are you thinking of?" Harry questioned. "Everything," I admitted. "I thought of Draco and my family, but nothing."
"Have you thought of them separately?" Harry asked. "Yes," I answered. "Then try to think of a memory they're both in, the happiest you've ever been," Harry reasoned. "What do you think of?" "The gala my parents threw for me, Draco was there and it was... amazing," I confessed. "Alright, remember the feeling and embrace it," Harry told. I concentrated on the memory and started smiling lightly then a warm feeling filled my whole body and a bright blue animal started forming in front of me. It was a lion, but this lion was bigger than most and it's main was like fire. I smiled as it roared and ran across the room then disappeared. "What was that?" Harry questioned. "A Nemean Lion," I answered. "It's a mythical lion, it's one of Hercules' twelve labors. It's fur is magic, it's like iron which makes it impossible to defeat."
"Then it looks like you have tough skin, Morningstar," Harry complimented, making me smile. At that moment, we heard a faint boom causing the room to shake a bit, another was heard and a hole blew through the wall. "Y/n," Harry said. I waved my hand causing the wall to become transparent, we saw Umbridge and the squad. She raised her wand and we all backed away as the wall exploded, exposing all of us. Draco looked at me sadly as he held onto a student that was in the army. I frowned then Harry spoke, "Help!" I waved my hand causing Harry and I to teleport to the black lake. "What? Why are only we here?" Harry questioned. "You were supposed to keep all of us hidden, why didn't you take all of us."
"I guarantee I'll keep you hidden," I replied. "As in just you, the rest are collateral damage." "Collateral damage?" Harry scoffed. "You toyed with my words and our deal-" "It's not my fault your friend betrayed you, that wasn't our deal," I spat. "So if you're gonna be whining that you didn't read the fine print then next time, be smarter with your words. Instead of worrying about this, worry about what's gonna happen to your friends." Harry's eyes widened then he ran back to the castle as I teleported to the common room where Draco was waiting. "I'm so sorry-" "Shh," I hushed, hugging him tightly. "It's all okay." Draco held me tightly and spoke, "Glad you're safe, can't say the same for the rest." I leaned my head against his shoulder and thought. Did I do the right thing?

It was a few weeks after everyone got caught, people were punished but that didn't matter to me. Right now, everyone was doing their O.W.L.s, I was unfortunately seated next to Hermione while Draco was on the other side of the room behind me. It was extremely dull, Umbridge was sitting at the front like she owned the whole place. I shook my head before looking back at my quiz, all I wanted to do is get back at her. At that moment, a bunch of clutter was heard from outside, Umbridge got up and went to investigate it. When she opened the door, a firework flew into the room and exploded. I smirked, getting up and turned to the door then the Weasley twins burst through the doors on broomsticks, tossing poppers and lighting fireworks.
Everyone beamed, getting up and watched the show as they threw the test papers in the air. A big firework went off in the middle then a huge dragon went after Umbridge as she ran to the door and it went right through her. A moment went by, then all the rules fell off the wall and shattered off the floor. Draco and I shared a look, I beamed as I ran to him and he lifted me off the ground in joy before we ran out with everyone else to see the rest of the firework show. It finished with a big W in the sky causing everyone to applaud loudly as they cheered for the twins. I smiled, but it slowly dropped when I started to feel off, Draco looked at me just in time as I fell to the floor, getting a vision of something. Little did I know that just a few feet away from me, Potter was the same.
