Y/n Morningstar, daughter of Lucifer Morningstar himself. As a kid, she had been prepped to be the next Queen of Hell along with whomever she chooses. One day, she meets a boy by the name of Draco Malfoy and has to face the great saint Potter and hi...
The wardrobe rattled, we were in DADA and in the middle of the classroom was a wardrobe that kept shaking. Something was clearly inside it. "What's in there?" Someone questioned. "It's a boggart. Can anyone tell us what a boggart looks like?" Lupin asked. "No one knows," Hermione interjected. "Boggarts are shape-shifters. They take the shape of whatever a particular person fears most. That's what makes it so terrifying." "Yes, luckily, a very simple charm exists to repel a Boggart. Let's practice it now, shall we? Without wands, please... Riddikulus!" Lupin told. "Riddikulus!" The class chanted. "This class is ridiculous." Draco muttered and I nodded in agreement.
"Good. So much for the easy part," Lupin said. "You see, the incantation alone is not enough. What really finishes a Boggart off is... laughter. You need to force it to assume a shape you find truly amusing. Neville, come up here, will you?" Neville looked behind him as if seeing if there was someone else he was referring to then looked nervous. "What would you say is the thing that frightens you most?" Lupin asked, Neville mumbled something. "What was that?" "Professor Snape." Neville choked out and the class laughed. Lupin went up to him and whispered something to him and spoke, "Okay, wand at the ready." Neville took out his wand as Lupin opened the wardrobe. The boggart shifted into Snape before it stepped out and started walking towards Neville.
"R-Riddkulus," Neville stammered. Snape stumbled back and changed into a hideous woman's outfit. Everybody laughed and Lupin smiled, "Excellent! Now everyone form a line, Neville to the back." Everyone hurriedly got in a line, I was pushed to be next in front of Potter. I purposely stepped on his foot causing him to wine lightly. Lupin played music as Ron went, turning the boggart into a spider. He cast the spell which put skates on the spider. What am I even scared of? What will happen if I don't have one? It was finally my turn. I stepped up to it, taking out my wand to get ready. What it turned into, I really wasn't prepared for. It turned into the flower the willow maiden turned into, moonbloom.

The flower itself was beautiful, it's what it represented was scary. It caused me to complete my freeze, I didn't know what to do. I could feel everyone staring at me, I felt completely helpless. At that moment, Lupin stepped in front of me causing it to turn into an image of the moon and he sent it back in the wardrobe. "That's all the time we have for today, class dismissed," Lupin told. "Y/n, stay behind, please." I looked at him then motioned me to his office and I went to it. I sat down as he spoke, "May I ask you something?" I looked at him then looked away and he asked anyway, "Do you know what that flower is called?" "Moonbloom," I answered quietly. "I assume you know the story behind it," Lupin said. "The Willow Maiden, yes?"
I looked at him slightly surprised and he spoke, "Yes, I know all about it." "Please, don't tell my parents," I pleaded. "Why?" Lupin questioned. "B-because... they'll be very disappointed I have such a stupid weakness," I lied. "Scared of a flower because of its story." "That's a lie," Lupin detected. I avoided eye contact, looking around the room and noticed the markings on his cases. "You're his daughter, aren't you?" Lupin questioned. "Lucifer Morningstar." I looked at him getting frustrated and spoke, "Yes." "And you want to be human," Lupin detected. "You're not scared of the flower, you're scared of your family disgracing you-" "Are you done!?" I snapped getting angry. "Or are you just gonna keep debunking me like some game!? I'm the only one who can play games!"
"I know it's very frustrating, not being able to control your emotions," Lupin replied calmly. "But snapping at me will not make you feel better." "Oh, so now you're a therapist?" I spat. "I don't need sympathy from a filthy werewolf!" Lupin looked taken back and spoke, "How do you know?" "It's obvious, I can smell it on you," I insulted. "You think I need your help, I don't!" Lupin just looked at me as I yelled at him, he waited for me to finish then said, "Defying your family when they don't care for you is hard, I knew a friend like that. So, I can't even imagine what it might be like when they care for you so deeply." I clenched my seat, looking down, trying to hide the tears that welled up in my eyes. "Yell at me all you want, if you need help or someone to talk to, I'll be available," Lupin assured. "All you need to do is ask." I blinked away my tears and forced myself to put on a glare.
"If you tell anyone who I am, I'll tell the world what you are," I snarled quietly. I grabbed my bag and left the room in a huff and stopped in the middle of the corridor. (Play song now, I changed the lyrics to fit the story.)I hit the wall angrily and spoke, "So, Lupin thinks he knows what I need, that I need some love to comfort me? Well, there's one thing that werewolf doesn't know." I walked down the hall and spat, "Mirror mirror, could not be clearer that love is a waste of time. I'm here to tell you with love's magic spell, you cannot match the power of mine. I already have all the love I need, more love is weakness that will leave you burned..." I stormed down the hall and knocked the books of every kid that passed me as I sang, "Down with love, down with hope. Don't need blind faith to cope, or inspiring songs in my heart. Got the magic I need for my darkest of deeds. Love at times can entrance, but love doesn't stand a chance. Love doesn't stand a chance."
I spotted the twins and smirked getting an idea. "Mirror mirror, the times draw nearer for me to enact my course," I smirked, using my magic to pick their pockets. "Those happy feelings that send them reeling will soon become the reverse." I dropped exploding poppers on the floor scaring people and started slipping prank candies in people's pockets. "Down with love, down with hope, don't need blind faith to cope, or inspiring songs in my heart. Got the magic I need for my darkest of deeds. Love at times can entrance, but love doesn't stand a chance. Love doesn't stand a chance!" I walked off the campus and made my way through the grounds. "Tried to make me turn to good, that's what he tried to do. Now that little bitch will wish he never ever knew me."
I stopped at the lake where no one can hear me. "Down with love, down with dreams, down with goodness schemes, gonna rip the song right from their hearts. Got the magic I need for my darkest of deeds. Watch my course kill your chance, so love doesn't stand a chance. No, no, love doesn't stand a chance!" I dropped to my knees and looked down, I didn't even realize I was on the actual water. I wasn't in it, I was on top of it as if it was just more ground. I frowned, knowing that I probably won't ever know what water was like. My eyes started to well up again and I got up and ran back to the castle to the common room. "Y/n?" Draco questioned seeing me. "Where have you been? I've been looking-" I cut him off then I hugged him tightly which he returned a bit confused.
"I want to be human," I confessed. "I know," Draco replied. "You okay?" "Hopefully," I replied, pulling away. "Come on, let's go to dinner." "Yeah," Draco agreed and we went off. "Though, I heard that some kids from the other house aren't gonna be there. Ate some bad candy." I smirked, "I wonder how that happened."
