"I don't have to go," Y/n said to Draco as she was about to leave for Slughorn's dinner party. "I would much rather stay here with you." "I'll be fine here," Draco assured, sitting up on the bed. "You go and have as much fun as you can and I'll wait for you." "I wish you were going," Y/n pouted a bit. "You'll be fine, you can survive without me," Draco replied. "I can't, but I get the gesture," Y/n smiled before giving him a soft kiss. "Wait up, okay?" "Of course," Draco smiled then Y/n left for the dinner party. When she arrived, the only seat left was one next to Granger or Potter. Y/n huffed then took the seat next to Harry and he spoke, "Hey." "Hi," Y/n replied, placing her napkin on her lap. "You look nice," Harry said. "That's weird to say," Y/n snarled then the dinner commenced.

"Did he ask you too?" Harry whispered. "Who?" Y/n questioned. "Dumbledore," Harry replied. "Nevermind." Y/n gave him a look then shook it off before Slughorn spoke, "So, Ms. Y/n, what do your parents do?" Hermione looked and Harry looked at her as if wondering what she was going to say. "My father helps supply the Borgin and Burke's shop and my mother is a healer in Russia," Y/n lied. "Hopefully one day, you all can meet them, they're a scream." Hermione and Harry shared a look then Slughorn spoke, "How incredible. And you, Miss Granger? What is it your family does in the Muggle world?" "My parents are dentists," Hermione answered, causing everyone to look at her confused. "They tend to people's teeth." "Fascinating, and is that considered a dangerous profession?" Slughorn questioned.

"No," Hermione answered. "Though, a boy named Robbie Fenwick did bite my father once. Needed ten stitches." She laughed a bit at her own joke then Y/n rolled her eyes, not paying much attention the rest of the night. When it was time to leave, Y/n didn't waste much time and started to leave when Harry stopped her. "Hey, I was wondering if Dumbledore told you anything," Harry spoke. "Why would he tell me something?" Y/n questioned. "I'm just wondering," Harry replied. Y/n gave him a look then spoke, "Should I know something?" "No," Harry said. Y/n knew he was lying as he walked away, she was gonna go after him but stopped herself and shook it off before leaving. Draco was in the common room, reading when she walked in.

"Hey, how was it?" Draco questioned. "Lame, unentertaining, what else?" Y/n joked, sitting on his lap. "How was your night?" "The same," Draco replied. "Potter was asking me if Dumbledore told me anything," Y/n told. "Which is strange because he never talked to me after the night I had that dream." She let out a breath then spoke, "That doesn't matter, I have good news. Slughorn is having a Christmas party and we are to bring a date. I was wondering if a certain pureblood, platinum blonde, Slytherin with a cute accent would like to be that date?" "How can he say no?" Draco smiled. Y/n laid her head on his shoulder as he held her close to him.

It was finally time for the Christmas Party, not much has happened to Y/n that was important other than her attempt to kill the headmaster has failed. That didn't matter to her, however, she already had another plan she was going to enact tonight. "I'll meet you there," Draco said, grabbing something. "I have to mail something to my parents, I'll just have to meet you at the party." "Okay, then," Y/n agreed as Draco kissed her forehead. "Be safe." He left and Y/n finished getting ready and started her way to the party when someone stopped her. "Hey, Y/n, wait up," Harry said, approaching her. "What is it, Potter?" Y/n questioned. "Nothing," He replied. "Well, actually something but I just thought we could have a conversation first." "I'm not one for having conversations with people who aren't my friends or trying to manipulate," Y/n said.

"Well, I'm glad I'm not the last one this time," Harry said. "What I wanted to know if you know anything." "That's very vague," Y/n spoke. "What do you mean?" "About the war, about the death eaters," Harry rephrased. "We need to know everything." "Oh, I see," Y/n said. "You see, any information I give you is going against a deal I made. I'm sorry, I can't dishonor a deal. What type of person would that make me?" "The type of person I would trust," Harry answered. "Oo, very tempting," Y/n scoffed, walking off. "Wait, Y/n-" "Sorry, Potter, you can't stop me," Y/n said. "But-" "Shh, listen," Y/n spoke, snapping her fingers and music came on (play song now). "Tonight, I'm gonna have myself a real good time. I feel alive and the world I'll turn it inside out, yeah, and floating around in ecstasy. So don't stop me now... don't stop me- 'Cause I'm having a good time, having a good time!"

Y/n started strutting ahead and Potter quickly followed after her as she continued, "I'm a shooting star, leaping through the sky like a tiger defying the laws of gravity. I'm a racing car, passing by like Lady Godiva. I'm gonna go, go, go- There's no stopping me! I'm burnin' through the sky, yeah! Two hundred degrees! That's why they call me Misses Fahrenheit! I'm traveling at the speed of light, I wanna make a supersonic woman out of you!" Harry followed her up the stairs and spoke, "But Y/n-" "Don't stop me now, I'm having such a good time! I'm having a ball! Don't stop me now! If you wanna have a good time, just give me a call! Cause I'm having a good time. Yes, I'm having a good time! I don't want to stop at all!" Y/n beamed. "Yeah, I'm a rocket ship on my way to Mars, on a collision course. I am a satellite, I'm out of control! I am a spell machine, ready to reload like an atom bomb! About to Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh explode! I'm burnin' through the sky, yeah! Two hundred degrees! That's why they call me Misses Fahrenheit! I'm traveling at the speed of light! I wanna make a supersonic woman of you!"

"Okay, Y/n-" Harry started, but was cut off when Y/n turned to him and sang, "Don't stop me, don't stop me, don't stop me, hey, hey, hey! Don't stop me, don't stop me, ooh ooh ooh! Don't stop me, don't stop me, have a good time, good time! Don't stop me, don't stop me, ah!" Y/n slid down the rail of a spiral staircase, Harry watched then quickly started going down the stairs to follow her. She laid then turned to Harry and beamed, "Oh, I'm burnin' through the sky, yeah! Two hundred degrees! That's why they call me Misses Fahrenheit! I'm traveling at the speed of light! I wanna make a supersonic woman out of you! Don't stop me now, I'm having such a good time! I'm having a ball! Don't stop me now, if you wanna have a good time just give me a call! Cause I'm having a good time, yeah yeah! Yes, I'm having a good time, I don't want to stop at all!"

They finally arrived at the party then Y/n started humming as she slowly disappeared into the crowd causing Harry to take a look around then huff before going away. Meanwhile, Y/n was spending time charming people who might be useful, then Slughorn insisted on taking a picture with her. "Marvelous," The camera man smiled. "Listen, Y/n, these students are great but they don't have a chance to make the shelf like you and Potter do," Slughorn said as he took her to the side to talk. "That's an honor, sir," Y/n replied. "Actually, Slughorn, I think you can be of great help to me. You're friends with Dumbledore, correct?" "Since I started working here," Slughorn smiled. "Then this should be easy," Y/n said then waved her hand causing him to go into a trance.

She looked around then stole a bottle from the bar and took out a potion, pouring it in the alcohol before resealing it with magic to make it look like nothing happened. "Now, here's the plan, you're gonna want to give this to Dumbledore as a present," Y/n spoke. "You'll say that it's a gift from a friend to a friend and you'll pour each of you a glass, toast to friendship, then let him drink it. Can you do that?" "Yes, of course," Slughorn agreed. "Good, here, all you'll remember is a friendly conversation," Y/n said, giving him the bottle. She walked away, waving her hand causing Slughorn to get out of the trance before commencing in the party. "Get your hands off me, you filthy squib!" Draco shouted and Filch dragged him in by his suit jacket.

"Professor Slughorn, sir! I've just discovered this boy lurking in an upstairs corridor. He claims to have been invited to your party," Filch informed. "You're an idiot!" Y/n spat. "He's my date and if you would kindly get your hands off of him that would be great." "See, I told you," Draco huffed and he let go of him. Y/n went up to him and took him aside as Slughorn spoke, "Well, everyone, go back to the festivities!" Everyone went back to their conversation and thing as Y/n spoke, "I hope he didn't hurt you." "I'm fine, really, I am," Draco assured, brushing himself off. "Just got the essence of squib on my suit." "You'll survive," Y/n smiled, straightening his tie. "Did you do it?" Draco asked.

"Yes, all Slughorn believes is that he got the idea to give Dumbledore that bottle of mead," Y/n smirked. "Hopefully, it'll work this time and Potter's group won't stop me. Can you believe he actually tried getting information out of me?" "Like you'd dishonor a deal," Draco replied. "I forget that you know everything, it's refreshing," Y/n smiled. Draco smiled back, taking her hand in his as they continued their night together.
