"So, you were right," I said to Lupin. It was a few days later, I finally plucked up the courage to talk to him about my problem. "What allures you to want to be human?" Lupin asked. "I don't know," I admitted. "It's just fascinating, how you feel pain with the littlest thing like stubbing your toe or pricking your finger. And how you can win, Draco told me that being underwater is like floating in mid air, only you sink and you can't breath. He also says that the sun burns and can be up to one hundred degrees, that's amazing. How you all are so unphased by it because that's your normal. My normal is screams from the sinners and lakes of fire, though it is a dream to rule someday."

"You have strange dreams," Lupin chuckled a bit. "How about your parents?" "Oh, they're amazing to me," I replied. "My mom is so sweet to those she choses and my dad gives me everything I desire, Ollie also makes sure I'm happy too." "I can't imagine the fear you must feel of the thought of disappointing them," Lupin said. "But, I don't want to give up what I have," I reasoned. "The royalty of being Queen of Hell someday, it's suffocating trying to decide which one I want more." "Do your parents keep secrets from you?" Lupin asked. "No, my parents would never lie to me," I corrected. "I told Draco the same, my parents care for me too much to keep secrets." "You seem to put a lot of trust into Draco if you're telling him all this," Lupin mentioned.

"Well, Draco is the first person I told about being human," I replied. "Actually, he was really sweet about it. I feel like he thinks he's protecting me, but we're really protecting each other. I like it that way, he's like a knight in shining armor." "Speaking of which, you should be off," Lupin insisted. "Everyone will be off to Hogsmeade soon, don't be late." "See you soon, professor Lupin," I said, going off. I went to the courtyard where Draco was waiting for me. "Ready?" Draco asked. "Yes," I smiled, taking out my permission slip. We went to hand it to McGonagall, when we walked back to the crowd, a Hufflepuff boy in our year stopped me. "Care to go to Hogsmeade with me?" He asked politely. "No, she'd rather go with me," A snobby Ravenclaw spat. "Hey! She would rather have an older prefect," A Gryffindor insisted.

"I'd rather have none of you," I scoffed. "I'm no prize, besides I'd rather go with a Slytherin." "She's talking about me," Multiple guys said at once. "No, I'm not," I huffed. I looked at Draco and grabbed him by his jacket, pulling him along. Draco smirked at the crowd with pride then offered his arm to me, which I took and we went off. "You choose me?" Draco smirked. "To go hang out with, yes," I replied. "Rather you than go on a stupid date with some loser, besides we've been planning this since we started our year." "Right," Draco smiled. We arrived to a snow covered town with many shops filled with candies, trinkets, and other things. "Come on, I want to go to honey dukes," I insisted, grabbing Draco's hand and dragged him to the store. When we went inside, I was immediately overwhelmed with the smell of sweets.

We started looking around and I picked up a box. "Berry Botts every flavored Beans?" I questioned, reading the package. "I wouldn't go for that," Draco cautioned, taking the package from my hand. "Besides, I know you prefer chocolate, these are what you want." "Fudge flies?" I questioned. "Don't worry, they're not real flies," Draco assured. "You'll like them a lot, I know you. Oh, and these, exploding Bon-Bons. You can slip them to Weasley, he'll probably mistake it for a real one." I smirked then looked up at Draco who was looking through the sweets. "What?" Draco questioned, catching my eyes. "Nothing," I replied, looking away. We went to pay and the cashier told us the price. "I got it," Draco said. "I have money," I told.

"I know you do, but I won't be much of a gentleman if I let you pay for our first trip," Draco smirked, paying the cashier. I smiled as he took my hand again and led me out of the shop. "Where do you want to go next?" Draco asked. "Um, I don't know, you choose," I insisted. "Want to go Dervish and Bages, they might have cool stuff," Draco suggested and I agreed. We walked into the magical items store and started looking at the many trinkets they have. "Hey, Ollie has one of these," I said, picking up a deluminator. "Well, used to, he got it taken away at his years in Ilvermorny because he kept spooking kids." "Your family really knows how to have fun," Draco mentioned. "Oh, you haven't had fun till you can haunt muggles, it's hilarious," I laughed. "I'm gonna get him this. What are you getting?"

"Just a notebook," Draco said. "To draw and such." "Good," I smiled and we went to check out. We walked outside and I saw Draco shiver a bit. "You want to go warm up somewhere?" I offered. "Yeah," Draco agreed. "Um, how about Madam Puddifoot's Tea shop?" "But, you said you wanted to try butterbeer," I replied. "I can handle tea," Draco said. I looked inside through the window and spoke, "No, it's filled with love birds, I rather not be listening to that while I try to drink tea." "W-Well," Draco stammered. "You okay?" I questioned. "Come on, you really need to warm up." I grabbed his hand and led him to the Three Broomsticks. We walked inside and sat in a booth so we could sit next to each other. "Two butter beers please," I said to the waiter.

"Here you are," He said, placing them down. He walked away and Draco spoke, "I just think the tea shop was more your taste." "I'm fine here," I assured, scooting closer to him as he took a sip of his drink. "Besides, there's not many people here. I thought you might like it if we were more alone." "Alone?" Draco questioned. "You know, away from those lovesick morons who begged me to go to Hogsmeade with them," I told. "I mean, they're trying too hard." "Yeah," Draco agreed, letting out a light laugh. He played with his fingers a bit then asked, "What type of guy would you say yes to?" "I never really thought about it," I answered. "Probably... a Slytherin who I can be myself around and talk to as easily as I talk to you, Draco."

Draco nodded along then took another sip of his drink, when he set it down, I giggled lightly. "What?" Draco questioned. "Nothing, you just got something on your face," I smirked. Draco blushed lightly and started wiping it off. I grabbed a napkin and helped him out a bit. Draco looked at me as I did so and smiled lightly. I smiled back at him and looked away as I placed the napkin down.

As they spent their time together, Draco daydreamed with his head in his hand. Just watching Y/n as she drank her butterbeer and sang in his daydream. "Well, I will call you darlin' and everything will be okay cause I know that I am yours and you are mine, doesn't matter anyway," Draco spoke. "In the night, we'll take a walk, it's nothing funny just to... talk..." They got up and they walked out of the Three Bromsticks hand in hand and Draco continued, "Put your hand in mine. You know that I want to be with you all the time. You know that I won't stop until I make you mine, you know that I won't stop until I make you mine... until I make you mine." They decided to go to Zonko's joke shop and explore around there to get prank products for their own mischief.

"Well, I have called you darlin' and I'll say it again, again. So kiss me 'til I'm sorry, babe, that you are gone and I'm a mess," Draco pleaded a bit as he offered to hold her things. "And I'll hurt you and you'll hurt me and we'll say things we can't repeat." They went to check out then agreed to take a walk in the forest together. "Put your hand in mine. You know that I want to be with you all the time. You know that I won't stop until I make you mine, you know that I won't stop until I make you mine... until I make you mine," Draco said, staring at her. Y/n went ahead a bit and disappeared causing Draco to look around confused. Suddenly, he felt a snowball hit his back causing him to turn.

Y/n appeared behind him, laughing then Draco threw snow at her and they started messing around. "It's hard to feel you slipping through, my fingers are so numb," Draco smiled. "And how was I supposed to know if you are not the one?" Draco caught her by surprise and lifted her off the ground from behind, making her laugh as they spun around. "Put your hand in mine... you know that I want to be with you all the time," Draco smirked as they walked back to the town. "You know that I won't stop until I make you mine... you know that I won't stop until I make you mine... until I make you mine." Draco grabbed her hand and spun her around a bit making her giggle as he smiled, "Put your hand in mine! You know that I want to be with you all the time! Oh darlin', darlin', baby, you're so very fine! You know that I won't stop until I make you mine! Until I make you..."

As Draco trailed off, he pulled Y/n in and locked arms with her and smirked, "Mine!" Y/n smiled at him then they walked back to Hogwarts together.
