It was about two days later, I was in the stands for the Quidditch game with Ron and Hermione. I was leaning against the rail watching the game, mainly watching Draco who kept glancing at me. I smiled at him then watched as Slytherin scored another point. "This is boring," I sighed. "I really don't see the point." "The point? The point!?" Ron exclaimed. "I-It's Quidditch." "Not that exciting," I huffed. "You're mental," Ron replied. "Besides the point," I said. "Draco is doing good." "You're still friends with him," Hermione questioned. "Why wouldn't I be?" I said. "I mean, you must see how he is," Hermione reasoned. "Draco's my friend, it doesn't matter," I said, trying not to get angry. "He's sweet when you get to know him." Hermione shrugged, I felt the back of my hair go up and turned to see Meg.

I stepped forward trying to stay away from her as she walked by. That was too close. "What is it with you two?" Hermione questioned. "Nothing, just don't like each other, that's all," I assured her. We went back to watching the game, Slytherin scored again making me smile and clap lightly. At that moment, a bludger went after Harry trying to hit him. "Blimey, Harry's got 'imself a Rogue Bludger!" Hagrid spoke. "That's been tampered with, that has." "I'll stop it," Ron declared. "No," Hermione stopped. "Even with the proper wand it's too dangerous, you could hit Harry." I looked at the scene seeing it chase after Draco and Harry as they went after the snitch. "Come on, Draco," I said under my breath.

They went under the bleachers, they were under there for a good moment then Draco flew out of there and landed on the ground roughly. I gasped then rushed down there as Harry landed with a crash catching the snitch, ending the game. "Draco!" I called rushing to him. "Y/n, look out!" Draco shouted. I looked to see the bludger coming after me, I was about to be hit when someone pushed me out of the way. It was Meg, I was groaning in pain on the floor as a burning sensation went through my entire body. Meg quickly let go as Madam Hooch approached us. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to," Meg apologized looking at her hands. "I just wanted to save her." At that moment, two hellhounds appeared and stood in front of her with their teeth barred, growling at her.

She looked at me then at the hounds before running away, I was covered with burn marks. They rushed me to the hospital and patched me up, the worst burns were on my arms. "The ones on your arms will take time to heal," Madam Pomphrey informed, wrapping them in bandages. "You're lucky, it could have been worse. I sent word to your parents." "Thanks," I sighed. She walked away leaving Draco and I, he was sitting on the edge of my bed. "Your parents are gonna be furious," Draco said. "Good," I huffed looking at my arms. "She did this to me, she knows what I am." "How did she hurt you?" Draco questioned. "She's an angel," I answered. "Her touch burns me, I never felt pain before in my life. Now I know what heat and cold feels like, what I don't know is why the hell hounds were there."

"Maybe your parents sent them," Draco reasoned. "Maybe they did so they can protect me against that angel," I replied. "Do they know her?" Draco asked. "No, they would have told me and my parents would never lie to me," I replied. "One thing for sure, I like the feeling of cold." Draco smiled then nudged me a bit making me smile then placed his hand on my arm gently. I looked at him then saw Harry and the others and spoke, "I got to go pretend to be good again, I'll meet you in the common room." Draco watched me as I walked to the others then left. "You okay?" Harry questioned. "Just a few burns, but I'll live," I replied. "Meg casted some spell." "It looked really bad," Hermione mentioned. "I'm fine," I assured. "Besides, it's not as bad as what happened to Harry. Honestly, why would you let Lockhart even touch you?"

They all laughed then I spoke, "They told my parents anyway." "What do we call them if we see them," Harry asked. "My parents," I answered him. "Come on, we're friends," Harry said. "You can tell us anything. Why is your family such a secret?" "You're right," I sighed. "My name is Y/n Candle, but you might know me as The Candle Queen." "Be serious," Hermione giggled. "I am, have you never heard of the Candle Queen?" I smirked then snapped my fingers causing music to play. "Ever since she was a child, she always knew how to get her way," I told them. "Just act a little bit wild and someone will surely come to play. It's a truth she took to heart, but humility and patience didn't come with age. She's born to play this part, a diva's always center stage."

I walked around them and continued, "Toddler's cries that grow louder and louder, relishing in untestable power. Glowing red in a black and white scene. The one and only candle queen. Stoking the flames that burn higher and higher, royalty with a crown of fire. Setting ablaze an extravagant scene. -- The one and only candle queen!" They laughed as I grabbed Hermione and spun her around then did the same to Ron before sitting down on the edge of Harry's bed. "Addicted to adrenaline and always looking for attention. Thought to be so genuine when she's suddenly met with apprehension. The fighting has begun and she'd do anything to get ahead. Like using people as ladder rungs and sweeping eggshells under the bed," I smirked. "Toddler's cries that grow louder and louder, relishing in untestable power. Glowing red in a black and white scene. The one and only candle queen. Stoking the flames that burn higher and higher, royalty with a crown of fire. Setting ablaze an extravagant scene. The one and only candle queen!"

The trio sat around me and I spoke as if telling a story. "Ah, but there's hope for you still..." I told them. "Before it all comes unfurled. Ah, you just need to chill. It's not the end of the world, she just can't help but be this way. She lost her true self long ago, now all her friends have been pushed away because a caricature is all they know." I got up and turned to them and smirked, "Toddler's cries that grow louder and louder. Everyone rushing to disavow her. All alone in a black and white scene. The one and only candle queen. Hurt by the flames that burn higher and higher, clutching a broken crown of fire. All alone in the final scene. The one and only candle queen!... What a pity, that candle queen." I sat down causing us all to go into a fit of laughter over the song.
