"Let me give our guest a proper greeting.... Avada Kedavra!" "Poor soul, muggle too... he'll take his place in the sky, though...."

I shot awake again, Draco was looking at me, already awake. "You okay?" Draco questioned. "I tried to wake you, but it didn't work." "It was that bloody dream again," I huffed. "He's onto me. Potter... I felt his curiosity. I felt him wanting to find out who my father was, he's onto me." "Okay, calm down," Draco said, noticing my breath was still heavy. He pulled me in his arms and I calmed down enough to say, "I have to do something." "Relax, something always comes to you," Draco spoke. "Just rest, the second task is today. So, come on, let's get ready." I nodded then we got ready before we made our way to the black lake where the second task was. We hoped in a boat, Potter joined us before we went off. "Hey," he greeted. "Hi," I said. "You were right, Neville was good help," Harry smiled. "Thanks."

"Anytime, Potter," I assured. "Get good sleep?" "I got enough," He answered. I nodded, giving Draco a look, he passed me a reassuring smile then put his arm around my waist. I looked down at the lake and got an idea, I placed my hand in the water enchanting it a bit before bringing it out and drying it off. We made it to the platform and I went off with Draco to get a good view of it. "What did you do?" Draco questioned. "A call," I smirked. "To the mermaid in the water, they'll be too busy looking for it. Potter will have a clear window." "That's impressive," Draco breathed out. "Why, thank you," I smiled, taking his arm and wrapping it around my shoulder. The horn went off, so it was just a waiting game now. Soon enough, Fluer was pulled out of the game due to something.

Cedric came in first and Krum came in second, I looked into the water and huffed, "He's playing hero." At that moment, Ron and Fluer's little sister went up to the surface and swam to the platform. "Damn it," I spat then closed my eyes. It took a moment, but Potter was shot out of the water onto the platform and everyone cheered. I shook my head as Dumbledore announced, "Attention, attention... the winner is... Mr. Diggory!" I scoffed as everyone cheered for him then Dumbledore added, "However, seeing as Mr. Potter would have finished first if not for his determination to rescue not only Mr. Weasley but the others as well, we have agreed to award him second place. For outstanding moral fiber!" I smiled brightly then cheered, hugging Draco in victory. "Why is this important?" Draco questioned.

"Because, the sooner he goes in the sooner he'll rise again," I smirked. "Things are looking up, but this gives him time to find out who my father is." Draco grabbed my hand and we went back to the shore where someone called after me, "Pst... Morningstar." I stopped and turned to see Moody, I looked at Draco and spoke, "Go on, I'll meet you in the library." Draco nodded then pecked my lips before going off. I went up to Moody and he grabbed my arm and took me aside. "Don't touch me," I spat, swatting his hand away. "We had to get away- ah!" He winced in pain as he started turning into himself again. "What is it?" I questioned. "The next task, it's a maze," Barty told. "In the middle will be the cup, is there a way where you can make sure Potter touches the cup first."

"I could, but that's not my concern at the moment," I replied. "Potter has been getting dreams of the night my father and I were at the nasty house. He'll find out who he is then find out who I am, I need a way to get him off my tracks. Till then, you're on your own." Barty thought for a moment then spoke, "Kill him..." "I can't kill Potter," I spat. "No, my father, kill him," Barty spoke. I noticed his expression, he wanted me to do it. "You hate him, don't you?" I questioned. "I have for the longest time," Barty admitted. "I'm sorry to disappoint, I can't without cause," I said. "For it to work, I need a deal." "Fine, take my soul," Barty insisted right away. "You want him dead that badly?" I smirked. Crouch Jr. hesitated and I spoke, "What? Getting cold feet?"

Barty looked down then I appeared behind him so I could get in his head. "I know, he's your father... the man that raised you... but did he really?" (Play song now) I took out a sphere and went in front of him and showed him his past when he was a child, his father neglecting him. "Here in the garden, let's play a game. I'll show you how it's done," I spoke. "Here in the garden, stand very still. This'll be so much fun." I changed the scene and continued, "And then he smiled, That's what you're after. The smile in his eyes, the sound of fake laughter. Happy to listen, happy to play... happily watching him drift away." Barty clenched his jaw then I showed him how he was before he became a death eater. "Happily waiting, all on your own, under the endless sky," I smirked. "Counting the seconds, standing alone as decades of years go by... happily wondering, night after night, is this how it works? Am I doing it right? Happy to listen, happy to stay, happily watching him drift away."

I went through his life and continued, "You keep on turning pages for people who don't care, people who don't care about you... and still, it takes you ages to see that no one's there, see that no one's there, see that no one's there. Everyone's gone on without you... Finally something, finally news... about how the story ends. He doesn't exist now, survived by himself and all of his ministry friends... Isn't that lovely? Isn't that cool? And isn't that cruel? And aren't you a fool to have. Happy to listen, happy to stay, happily watching him drift... drift... drift...  away." Barty clenched his fist and spoke, "You got yourself a deal... but promise me one thing." "What would that be?" I questioned. "Make his death painful and slow," Barty said, through gritted teeth. "You got yourself a deal," I smirked, offering my hand.

He shook it straight away causing me to cackle then take the sphere, holding it in front of him. He groaned as his soul was transferred into the sphere and he fell to the ground, weak. "Pleasure doing business with you," I smirked. "The imperius curse, cast that on Krum. He's the strongest, he can get rid of the other two with relative ease. I'm off to suck the life out of your father, and he'll take his place down there." I laughed evilly, going off to find the man. When I did, I grabbed onto him and teleported him to the woods where no one could hear. "Barty Crouch," I smirked. "The man with secrets, about your son and you witnessing the deal the ministry made with my father. Your time is up." I raised my hand and his breath caught his throat, it looked like he was choking, but it was much more than that.

I clenched my fist causing the color to slowly leave his face, making me smirk before he fell to the floor dead. I smiled then went back to the castle, I spotted Draco in the library and ran to him. I hugged him joyfully and he spoke, "Why the sudden change in mood?" "I made a deal," I smiled, showing him the sphere. "Barty Jr. offered his soul in exchange for his father's death, this is perfect. With Crouch's death, Potter will be distracted." "Which means you're safe," Draco detected and I nodded. "You're safe!" He beamed, picking me up and spinning me around in a hug making me giggle happily before he set me down and kissed my forehead, holding me tightly.
