"Okay, as we discussed," Harry said, giving me the horcrux. "Destroy it and we are a step closer to killing you-know-who." I nodded, looking at the necklace and lifted it up with my magic. I took a deep breath then clenched my fist causing a small screech to be heard from the necklace, as if it was angry. "Ah!" Harry winced, holding his scar. "Harry," Ron gasped, rushing to him. I kept going then winced lightly in pain then it grew more as it started cracking. "Ah!" I groaned in pain, dropping the necklace. "Y/n," Draco gasped, dropping down to my side. "What's going on?" "Tied to the Willow Maiden's blood," Harry breathed out as we got up. "The pain I feel is the pain you feel." "For everything?" I questioned. "No, just for this," Harry sighed, taking the necklace. "Let me try again-" "No," Draco stopped. "If the pain gets worse, you can get seriously hurt or worse. You're too important to take that chance."
I sighed then Harry put the necklace on and spoke, "We have to keep it safe until we can figure out how to destroy it." "Seems strange, mate," Ron interjected. "Dumbledore sends you off to find a load of Horcruxes, but doesn't bother to tell you how to destroy them. Doesn't that bother you?" "He did give us something better, Y/n," Harry said. "How sweet, but I can't destroy it," I huffed. "Doesn't matter, we should set up camp." "I'll set fire wood," Draco offered. "I'll come with you," I insisted. "I'll scavenge some food," Hermione added. Draco and I went off, he spoke, "You don't think it's strange that your father kept this from you?" "That's all I've been thinking about," I admitted. "I mean, why wouldn't he think the prophecy is about me? What could it say? All I know is what Dumbledore told me and what Potter is telling, they're keeping something from me. I just need to know what."
"How are you feeling?" Draco asked, picking up a few sticks. "I found out that Potter was my cousin and I'm meant to save all of the wizard kind," I replied. "I'm as good as you can be, better since I'm able to bring you along." "You really don't need me," Draco said. "That's where you're wrong," I corrected. "What about you? How is all this making you feel?" "Well, there is not much to be worried about other than you," Draco answered. "I mean, my parents are safe, you're by my side, not much to be scared of other than being worried what might happen to you." I smiled lightly then winced getting a vision of this man getting interrogated by Voldemort before getting killed. "Y/n?" Draco questioned, concerned. "We should get back to the others," I insisted. Draco nodded, got a few more pieces then we went back to the others to see Hermione talking to Harry, probably about the same thing.
"It happened to you too?" I asked. "Yep," Harry huffed. At that moment, static from the radio was heard and Harry snapped his head towards it. "Don't it soothes him," Hermione stopped. "It sets my teeth on edge," Harry spat. "How long before he can travel?" "I have no idea, I did all I can-" "Well it wasn't enough!" Harry snapped lightly at me. "Hey, back off, scarhead," Draco snarled. Hermione stood between them then turned to Harry and spoke, "Take it off. The necklace, give it to me." Harry did so and cooled down as he gave it to her. "Better?" Hermione questioned. "Loads," Harry breathed out. "Interesting," I added. "We'll take turns," Hermione insisted, putting on the necklace before walking away. The day went on, I was working on my puzzle outside of the tent, the sun was going down when I did so.
That's when the N on the compass started glowing, I titled my head in confusion a bit then the circles around the actual compass started to glow as well then stop. I pressed the circles randomly, but it let out a sad noise as if staying I got it wrong. I huffed then kept trying, nothing worked. "It might be broken," Harry mentioned, sitting next to me. "Why are you here again?" I snarled as I kept trying. "Trying to make conversation," Harry said. "No, you're trying to be my friend and I said it many times over that I'm not, even if you're family." "You may have more, but you're the only blood relative I have," Harry spoke. "Besides, I can help." "How?" I questioned. "Well, for one the compass is wrong," Harry informed, getting up. "The sun rises in the east and sets in the west, primary school things. Which means that..."
