"Excuse me?!" you shouted as you knocked on the giant metal door. "'Scuse me!"
A big guy opened the door, pointing a gun at you. You raised your hands.
"Can I speak to a certain Brody please?"
He frowned, not understanding.
"I'm here to do some diplomacy. Since my boys got Xeno and are now getting the hell out of here." you pointed behind you with your thumb. "Oh, and if you're thinking about killing me or kidnapping me too. I don't think that'd be a good idea."
"And why's that?"
Another hand opened the door widen, there stood a taller and beefier man, bald, dark skinned, with tiny round sunglasses. He was smiling widely. The description seemed to match Gen's.

"Because I was invited here in the first place."
"Invited?" he raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah. My name's (Y/n) nice to meet you. I was penpals with Xeno back in the modern days." you pointed behind them, making tiny circles with your index. "That lil side project of his, don't know if you heard of it?"
He laughed and moved to be in front of you.
"So you're this incredible musician I heard so much about?"
"Don't wanna brag," you smiled. "but I am the best one on Earth as of now."
"Where are your instruments? We've got no reports of any on your ship."
"I don't have them right now. I left them at my place."
"How convenient. How do we know you're not pretending and you're actually another spy?"
'To be honest I doubt that musician is even here.' he thought. 'The probability is way too small.'

"Sir I could make banger music with a speed bag. I don't need instruments for that."
"A speed bag?" he frowned before laughing again. "Of all things to use as an example, you used that?!"
"It's my latest hit." you shrugged.
"A kid like you?"
"Want me to prove it. You got a speed bag in there?" you scooted passed them and walked in.
"Hey-!" the soldier exclaimed but then Brody raised his hand to shut him up before following you.
"You think now is a good time for that?" he asked. "Your friends are at our mercy."
"Yeah yeah sure." you waved your hand. "It's always a good time for a music lesson, haven't made one of those in ages."

He led you to a training room and brought you a speed bag machine. On the way, other soldiers noticed you and you invited them to join and watch your lesson. So now you had a little crowd around you, but you weren't nervous, you knew you'd kill it. Brody adjusted the height of the bag so that you could reach it, then he took a step back and gestured you to go ahead.
"So get this: I was starting to workout, and I saw a friend of mine using this thing." you pointed at it. "And I told him 'hey how do you do it? It goes so damn fast.' So he offered to teach me and I didn't get it at first - I was scared it'd hurt my hands. And it did." you heard some chuckles at that. "But then he said something that made it click for me. He said 'it's not about seeing the bag, it's about hearing the bag'. And then I got it: it's like drums!"
You faced the bag with an excited smile. No one besides Tsukasa knew about your new trick and you were waiting to master it to show it to people, well now was the time.
"Now, when I do a circle punch from the front." you hit the bag with said move. "You heard that beat, that 1 2 3 right? And when I do a circle punch from the back, you also hear 3, except this time it's actually the counter beat. So the rythme changes when my fist goes back and forth." you explained as you moved accordingly. "And so once you learn the different moves and use both hands...you can have some fun with it."
And so you began to hit the bag in different ways: a hook from the sides, fists rolling, etc. The sound made from your punches and the rebounds, it sounded just like drums. And at some point the bag went so fast it looked like it was a bug in a video game. With one final punch you looked at at them with a big smile.
"And that would be a little drum kick."

The soldiers didn't want to cheer since you were technically still the enemy, but some of them did politely clap. You bowed slightly, thanking them before turning towards Brody, who looked a bit baffled.
"Alan Kahn..." he said.
"Who?" you tilted your head.
Alan Kahn wrote a book called the "Speed Bag Bible", not a lot of people know about him but he was one of the people who'd use speed bags the way you just did. When Brody lacked the motivation to train, he'd read his book or watch his videos (which are on youtube) to try and learn his style. However he's been so busy lately with his mechanic work in this stone world that he forgot all about it. And you just brought it back to life, you figured it out on your own just like that.
He wasn't an expert, but he could tell this was some musician shit right there!
"So." you said, snapping him out of his thought. "I'm here to do some diplomacy and I heard you were the guy to talk to for this."
He blinked twice before chuckling. Then he led you to what looked like their communication room. Their technologie really did look more polished than yours.
