Sai made a complex circuit diagram to send to the crafting team in North America, so that they could recreate it on their own. But with this came a question: how are you going to send it? Was Yuzuriha going to have to pull an all nighter drawing squares again? You already felt bad for the poor girl. Thankfully, Xeno had a solution.
"Photos and schematics must be simply be sent online, via a proper fax machine this time. As we seek to link the world, the need for such things is an unavoidable truth. Which is why I have sent instructions to North America with Taiju's group. Tell me Senku, do you also need a delightful crash course on how to construct a fax machine?" he chuckled with a teasing tone.
"Kukuku, good one. Just tell us what setup you're using, I'll take it from there."

"Heh. By the by, how is our dear (Y/n)?"
He turned to look at you. You were in your corner, carving wood to make some drums, which by now you were pretty good at.
"Oi~! (Y/n)!" he called out. "Xeno's asking how you're doing!"
"Tell him to go to hell!"
"Still hates your guts." he turned back to the radio.
Xeno chuckled again.
"Figured."

After Senku made a functioning fax machine, he sent the circuit schematics and now all you guys had to do was wait for Corn City's results.
"So Corn City will do the heavy lifting for the computer crafting," Ryu said. "while we keep globetrotting and founding cities!"
"Oh? Time to ship out?" Kohaku smiled. "Great! We oughta move without a moment's delay!"
"On that note," Sai bowed. "our brief time together ends. I'll remain here in India to toil away on the circuit diagrams. Which I'll fax you once I can."
"Huh?" you looked at him, a bit sad. "You're not coming?"
He sent you an apologetic look.
"Get outta here." Ryu smiled. "No, literally. You're coming with us, we're shipping out *together*! We'll probably need your math skills at each location we visit."
At his words, Sai panicked.
"Nuh-uh! Not going! Especially not with you, Ryusui!"

The volume of his voice took everyone by surprise. You glanced at Ryu to see his reaction, he didn't seem to mind. Still, you couldn't help but feel bad for him. You leaned towards him and quietly asked:
"What exactly did you for him to hate you so much?"
"Nothing much really." he shrugged with a nostalgic smile. "I've just always desired everything, and to get what I desire, I've often needed his help."
You thought back to when he talked about building an actual racecourse.
'These two *are* complete opposite when it comes to personality. I can very well imagine Sai being overwhelmed by him.' you sighed.

You guys stayed in India for a while, to revive a bunch of people and found a new city. By sheer luck you found musicians who knew all about Indian music. They helped you with the recreation of instruments and taught you how to sing well in Indian. In the end, you got yourself a sitar.
"I've actually never played this before." you sat down and placed it on your lap. "This will be a first."
"Ah~! Finally!" Gen's face lit up. "Gather 'round everyone! Come witness (Y/n)-chan mastering the sitar at world record!"
Senku was already here, all your friends (plus a few revived people) came over to watch you. You shifted a bit, embarrassed.
"Go on." Senku nodded towards you. "You got it."
You gulped and focused on the instrument as you began to think out loud.

"If I understood correctly: you have two sets of strings." you pointed. "One above the frets, one below. And you're not supposed to actually play the ones below, more like they resonate with the strings you're actually playing. And with those, you gotta focus on the main strings. I got three, but apparently the number can vary." you pointed at three thicker strings, with a bigger gap in between then with the others. "These strings are like 'the voice strings' and the others are...the background music I guess. And you also got the bridges and you can actually move the frets- Sitars are way more complicated that I thought they would be is what I'm saying! This could be tricky." you shifted in your seat. "But, I'll try my best."

You put a mezrab on your index and middle finger. - Mezrabs were basically picks, kinda like the ones used to play guzheng, except those were one metal string shaped in a loop and pinching the end of the finger. - And you began to play. It was slow and clumsy, you tried to stick to what you knew and played it like a guitar at first. It didn't sound bad but it didn't sound right to you and it made you frown. You thought for a moment and the tried a few things, until you played three notes. You gasp, your face lighting up.
"There," Senku smirked. "it clicked."
"Huh?! How? What was so different?" the people were confused.
Throughout this whole process, you were looking down at your hands, so focused that you even forgot you weren't alone. You came up with a melody and repeated it a few more times, nodding to the beat, until you played some more. There were still a few wrong notes here and there until you got comfortable and was able to jam out a full piece, now with a big happy smile on your face. Your enthusiasm was contagious, everyone clapped to the beat.
