Here's another punch in the heart you got this afternoon:
Senku gave you the green light to tell the others about your relationship.
I feel like this needs to be repeated.
Senku! Gave you the go!!!
"It's gonna happen eventually," he said. "mind as well get it over with."

Of course you weren't stupid, you knew it had something to do with your first couple-conversation last night. But, it's not like you were complaining in any way shape or form! Though when you went out to announce the news to your friends, he made sure not to be around when they'll go crazy.
You started with Taiju and Yuzuriha, and their reaction was exactly what you expected.

"Oh my god finally!" Yuzuriha hugged you. "I'm so happy for you both!"
"I'm so proud of Senku!" Taiju sniffed, his eyes getting watery. "Finally he came to terms with his feelings and he became a better man! Senku~!"

Then you went to your girl group (the three sisters, Nikki and Ruri) with which you talked about the drama you and Nikki used to watch on reality tv shows. And this time, it was different.
"No way! It can't be! Senku?!"
"What's the problem?" you asked, clearly confused.
"(Y/n)," Ruri leaned closer. "everyone talks...less about you and Senku, and more about you and Gen."

"What?!" you exclaimed then turned back to the others. "You guys gossiped behind my back?! What the hell?!"
"Well, you know." Garnet and her sisters looked at each-other. "You and Gen have so much more chemistry."
"We're just friends!"
"That's exactly what we thought when looking at you and Senku!"
"What are you talking about?!" you actually started to get a bit offended here. "We had a whole development!"
"Well it doesn't really shows!" Saphire said.
'This is turning into a ship war,' Nikki thought as she looked at the four of you arguing. 'and I am here for it.'

"Well, you wouldn't know but," Garnet said. "haven't you noticed that Gen behaves differently when he's with you?"
"What do you mean?"
"He's acting more friendly and cutesy towards you."
"Yeah, but he does that to anyone he likes...and dislikes now that I think about it: me, Senku, Suika, Hyouga, even fuckin Magma!"

"Right?!" Ruby suddenly exclaimed. "They look so good together!"
"No, Ruby, girl." her sisters glared at her.
"We talked about this, this one is a no-TP."
"Okay this is getting ridiculous." you rubbed your eyes. "Where's Gen?"
"True, where is he?" Nikki looked around. "I haven't seen him since this morning."
"Well Senku's hiding too!" Ruby exclaimed.
You sighed and walked away.
'What is wrong with people?'

"Kaseki~" you walked up to him while he was taking a break from work.
"Oh, (Y/n) dear, hello." he wiped some sweat off his forehead.
"Have you seen Gen?"
"No." he paused. "You look troubled. In fact, I saw you talking to your friends and now they're troubled too. What did you talk about?"
"Well, Senku and I are now a couple an-."
"WHAT?!" he stood up and intensely flexed in anger. "SENKU?!"
"Oh my god." you mumbled.

"I thought you were gonna say Gen and that was why you were looking for him!"
"Oh no! Not you too!"
"Senku!" he stomped his foot on the ground. "He didn't even asked for my blessing!"
"You're not my dad!"
"Oh~!" he whimpered. "My (Y/n) dear doesn't care about me~!"
"And now you're being a baby." you frowned. "I don't need anyone's blessing!"
He sniffed.
"You're right." he wiped a tear away. "You're a grown woman now. (Y/n)~!"
He jumped and hugged you. You felt a bit awkward, but you still hugged him back.

Senku decided to stay at that one spot towards the mountain, the one with a good view to the landscape. It was the perfect space to have some alone time, he'll stay there until it gets dark, everyone would've calmed down by then.

He reached the place but stopped when he saw Gen sitting there. He must've heard him, he turned around with a big smile, yet let out a 'oh' when he saw Senku.
"Expecting someone else?" he smirked and walked up to sit beside him.
"Oh~ you know I'm never disappointed when you're here Senku-chan~!" his smile came back.
